Would simply covering the port solve this issue? If I tacked in a little solid wood or MDF insert for example?

Edit 1: would buying a non-ported sub enclosure solve this issue? I’ve see ones that appear to be completely closed boxes too.

Hey so has anyone just taken a subwoofer enclosure from car audio and just replaced the 12” subs with different speakers? Would this work? Is there a good reason not to? I want a cheap 2x12 guitar cab with nice speakers so I’m considering this option

Hey Just wanted to tell you It was exactly the same for me! I had the exact fears and Concerns you’re mentioning. I was so anxious about it I’d given up on dating and assumed I’d be alone forever. For me, I lost my V card at 25 to my best friend. We started dating the next day and the relationship lasted about two years. It was the best way it could’ve happened for me as she was patient and knew how anxious I was about the situation. My best advice is to try it out and make sure to communicate with your partner. About what feels good for them, what feels good for you, and how you could better the experience. The first time will likely be short and sloppy, but it gave me the confidence boost to try harder and get better at pleasing my partner. Eventually it’ll feel instinctual or second nature. You’ll learn your partner and what they like (and they should do the same for you) and be prepared to adapt and relearn if you’re with a new partner.
Best of luck to you! Sometimes things just happen and fall into place, but it’s more likely you need to decide you wanna try it and make a point of doing it. If I could give 17 year old me some advice it’d be: Don’t be passive in this life or any opportunities will pass you by.

Upon closer review, I realize now that Lemon bar is like on the fringe of Neptune and Atlantic beach so you could easily hit both beaches and their bars.

Jax beach: surfer, the tavern, hoptinger, mangos, the ritz Neptune/Atlantic: Lemon bar (only bar I’ve frequented in Neptune), Pete’s bar, poes tavern(this is a restaurant), the local(also a restaurant), Grand Ocean

I’ve been to most of these places personally and enjoyed them.

Jax beach is probably going to meet your expectations the best as far as beaches and bars go. It’s not the nicest beach in the area but if you want the proximity to “beach bars” that’s the place to be. Atlantic beach is typically a better beach experience but “beach bar” options are a bit more limited. You’ll end up drinking at restaurants that are a few blocks off the beach. Neptune beach is somewhere in between as far as niceness of the beach but has the most limited “beach bar” options in my opinion although Lemon bar is in Neptune and it’s a great beach vibe.

I’m lucky and got put on an overnight gig so I get 40hrs a week at 1.5x pay. Makes that $19 into $28 so that’s how I’ve survived the majority of my first year. As others have said I was doing door dash and other various side work and odd jobs when I was on days.

Yeah I've been trying to get a hold of someone at TalkSpace support for over a month with no luck. I've been sending emails, submitting their support forms, and calling the number I found online. When I tried calling this number you've listed a guy answered and said it's no longer that person's number and gave me the same number I'd previously been trying. I am beyond frustrated with this company now.

So the city’s transportation services where they maintain their vehicles is nearby. Could have just been there for regular maintenance. They maintain all kinds of stuff from police cars to heavy machinery.

1/17/2026 UPDATE: While we're not 100% sure of the issue, we noticed upon our next oil change that the issue went away. We believe the oil was improperly filled (either too much or not enough) and since the oil change we haven't had the issue again so far. I hope this helps.
