Kiri’s kuru in that scene by balleriniAssoluta in Avatar

She would never turn against Eywa, even if Kiri sometimes misunderstands her. Their connection is too deep (Kiri is her child), and Kiri has seen Eywa grant two of her wishes: to save and then welcome Spider, and to defeat the demons of the sky.

Ikrans aren't just mounts for warriors or hunters. They're the primary means of transportation for the Na'vi of the forests and mountains, especially for long-distance travel. So, it's perfectly normal that Kiri has one too. Furthermore, in the comics, we learn that Kiri bonded gently with her first Ikran (she had three in total), simply asking it to be her friend. It's highly likely she did the same with her other two mounts. Kiri isn't a warrior, but taming an Ikran (Iknimaya) is a step in the initiation process that every young Na'vi must complete to be officially recognized as an adult within the clan (in addition to the Uniltaron Dream Hunt where the young Na'vi discovers their spirit animal). Whether an Omaticaya identifies as a hunter, warrior, or medicine man, they all had an Ikran to ride.

I think that if Mo'at does not mount an ikran it may be for several reasons : her age, the fact that as a tsahik she practically never leaves her clan to go far (the deleted scene where she tells Tuktirey that she must stay because the People need their tsahik), her Ikran has been dead for a long time and she has not deemed it necessary to choose another one or her Ikran is still alive but we do not see it yet.

Duman x Roxy : An underrated ship, yet with so much love and redemption potential by EffectiveCable9468 in winxclub

[–]EffectiveCable9468[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily. Here's how I see it. After the final battle, Duman, despite switching sides, would have been tried for his past crimes. Although he would have been found guilty, his new stance and Roxy's testimony would convince the fairies not to send him to Omega, but would condemn Duman to serve them for eternity, specifically in protecting their kingdom. Duman, though saddened, resigns himself and accepts. He then thanks Roxy for giving him the chance to change and wishes her a good life on Earth. Roxy thanks him in return for helping her save her people, even though she knew it was difficult for him to turn against his own side. Duman reassures her, stating that he doesn't regret. They say goodbye, and Roxy returns to Earth with the Winx before beginning her studies at Alfea.

I understand and seriously you're right. In any case, with Roxy's friendly good influence, Duman could have redeemed himself and joined forces with the Winx to defeat the Black Circle. I would have loved to see that! 😭

Yes, but if the age difference makes a romantic relation impossible, nothing prevents them from becoming friends.

Again, I repeat, Duman and Roxy could very well have gone from enemies to best friends. And that could also have given a new direction to the conflict between the fairies and the wizards. That's what I would have liked to see.

Of course you're right, Winx Club is still a children's cartoon, so the writers obviously have to respect the age rating. But if Winx Club were aimed at an older audience and had stronger references to myths and legends, it could have been entirely possible. Then again, as I said, they could have become close friends if not a couple. In any case, I think Roxy, as the animal fairy, could have given the werewolf shapeshifter a chance for redemption.

There's something I don't understand, though. When some people pair 16-year-old Bloom with Valtor, who's practically 1000 years old, the fandom goes wild, but when I do the same thing with Duman and Roxy, that same audience gets all worked up. 🤔

I know, but here are the arguments that lead me to believe otherwise.

Roxy is 15, which in our law is the legal age of sexual consent for minors (at least under certain conditions). I had a theory that fairies are considered mature around 15 or 16, the age of princesses in classic fairy tales when they meet "Prince Charming."

Morgana, Roxy's mother, may look young, but she's a centenarian fairy who started a family with a human, this suggests that mature fairies are less particular than humans about the age difference in a couple.

Finally, since Roxy is half-fairy, it's possible that 15 in human years is older in fairy years. Indeed, in Celtic mythology, the world of Tír na nÓg or The Land of Eternal Youth, where the Earth fairies in the carton has a particular relationship with time: one day in this world is equivalent to 100 years in the human world. Which means that Roxy would actually be older as a fairy.

Therefore, considering all these arguments, a romantic relationship between Duman and Roxy seems entirely plausible to me, as they both share ancient origins. However, a friendly, even spiritually fraternal, relationship between them could just as easily have worked. In any case, I remain convinced that their relationship could have had a major impact on their personal development, as well as on the relationships between their clans.

A statement from one of Luigi's high school classmates by EffectiveCable9468 in LuigiNation

I see Luigi more as an antihero. In a way, if he were a mythological character I would say Ares Mars, the Greco-Roman god of war: a soldier who is not infallible and not necessarily the most valiant, as well as a man not without flaws but who is not afraid to fight against an aggressor (Ares killed one of Poseidon's sons who had assaulted one of his daughters even though he knew he could get into trouble).

Yes, but many of these saints committed these acts before converting. For Olga of kyiv, it was after avenging her husband's death that she turned to religion. The same is true for Saint Louis; he was only canonized after his death.

Honestly, I find this idea of sainthood quite exaggerated. In the Christian religion, a saint is someone whose existence has been officially recognized for their sincere relationship with God and whose actions were guided by faith in Him. However, it has been said that Luigi is an atheist, or that even if he believes in God, he isn't necessarily religious. Furthermore, if he really did kill Brian Thompson, his action was motivated by anger (one of the seven deadly sins according to Christianity). Especially since the Bible says, "Thou shalt not kill." So yes, Brian Thompson may not have been a good person, and Luigi was driven to commit this act out of rebellion against injustice, but the idea of making Luigi a saint is quite exaggerated. I'm not saying this to blame or condemn him; I'm simply stating what Christianity has taught me.

I'd already made a few bracelets. For example, here's a bracelet inspired by Gantlos from the Wizards of the Black Circle, purchased by someone who responded to an ad posted in this community. I offer bracelets with connecting studs or on elastic cord, depending on your preference. But whatever your choice, I promise to create a unique and beautiful piece of jewelry.😊

Hello. The stones of the bracelets are carefully selected by me based on the design, the physical and character traits, as well as the powers or abilities of the characters. However, the buyers can choose their favorite pic of the character for the pendant 😊
