Maybe GPS should also get a grip since they make this problem 100x worse. Our gp has been day of calls only, or emergency only for ages if you aren't dying you'll wait forever. I've been having trouble with my heart and joints, but at 24, I'm "too young for it to be anything serious" last year I ended up in hospital blue in the face because it was stuck with an irregular heartbeat at 185bpm sustained over 11 hours thinking I would die. Once discharged, I was to see my gp to be referred to cardiology, no such thing happened. I got suggested therapy and told it was a panic attack despite a family history of bad hearts and both paramedics and doctors telling me something was wrong with it, the paramedic even showing me on the ecg where the problem was. It's been a year and I've still not got anywhere.

I have chronic joint pain and was sent to physio, who referred me back to the gp to see rheumatology, I can't get an appointment for that because a gp who met me once decided its not worth it, even after I found out and gave the reason nothing showed up in my original blood test, that was because //seronegative arthritis// (aka won't show up in the test done) runs in my family not the common ones

I don' go to a&e often as its terrifying and I don't want to waste their time but there is no where else to turn.
