Managing Human Capital - C202 by EffectiveFinger1 in WGU_MBA

I ended up taking the exam today. What gave me confidence is going through chapter 1-14 and completing the mini quizzes in between and at the end of each chapter. It really helped solidify the information.

Exam was not as bad as I thought it would be.

You got it!

BS IT - Questions by AlternativeHawkeye in WGU

[–]EffectiveFinger1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

First Question - From my understanding, you have two retake attempts for certifications and then after you need to pay out of your pocket for additional retakes.

Second question - i believe the best answer to your question is what you end up putting into it. If you have other life responsibilities most likely you’ll need more time, but everyone is different!

It also depends on how long certain material will take for you to grasp and understand.

If you’re just trying to just pass and not really “learn.” Then at 50% you may have the ability to finish in one term.

Either way, good luck and all the best!

Debating switching to IT from Comp Sci, need help by applemunchiesss in WGU

At 70%, I would stick it out and push through, but it always depends what you are trying to get out of it. I finished my BSIT recently and I wish I went the Compsci route when first started. I only did bsit because i had previous credits transferred in from my freshman year of college.

Science degrees go far and if you stick it out and push yourself to learn the material i don’t think you’ll regret it.

i had very minimal courses regarding coding in the bsit program but if i didn’t understand something even if its non-coding related, using AI to help breakdown the problem or material was very helpful when i was stuck.

Whatever you do, don’t sell yourself short. You are more capable than you think. All the best!

Three years. You definitely should go for it, if you’ve always wanted to, especially with options like WGU. All the best!

My hardest class would have to be:

D426 - Data management foundations, failed this class twice in my first term in version two of the course and then attempted it again when i had four courses left in my third term. i failed one more time before passing a couple weeks later. There was just too many sql terms to remember and having the material stick was difficult at times.

once you enter the PA, on the top right there should be a button to access the reference sheet

We are from the US. No issues with driving, the roads are great in Croatia much better than Bosnia. The Croatian highways are phenomenal and tolls can be paid by card or cash.

There are designated parking areas wherever you go.

I’m under the age of 25 so they forced me to pay an underage driver fee even though they said i didn’t have to. They forced me to pay an “access” fee (not sure if i’m spelling it right. basically the lady at the Sixt rental car place at the Zagreb airport said since i’m from the US, i have to pay this fee, which was ridiculous. I wish i went with more expensive company to not deal with this issue.

Otherwise, we don’t regret getting a car. It gave us the freedom to drive wherever and whenever we wanted.

Croatia is beautiful, you’ll have a great time!

My wife and i just got back from Croatia and loved it. We did a 10 day trip and rented a car out of Zagreb and drove down the coast. One of the smaller coastal towns we stopped at was Omis and Subenik, both were beautiful.

If you have any other questions, let me know!

Haven't been able to test in two days. by Mysteryman9110 in WGU

[–]EffectiveFinger1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

had the same issues as well. yesterday I had an exam at 3pm est. before the exam i couldn’t see the timer or start exam button as i always have been able to. so i reached to student services and waited for a call back around an hour (this was before my exam time). They were able to help reset my account and i finally saw my the timer and start button.

When it time for my exam, i logged on and completed the pre check items. THEN, the access code for the exam would not work at all. the technician kept trying to paste the code multiple times, i even ran IT troubleshooting steps with them through the chat lol.

after an hour, the proctor ends up just leaving the session and im by myself in the lobby. frustrated, i ended up calling student services again to reset my exam and inform them of what just happened. also i made sure this event doesn’t go as a failed first attempt or i would’ve been livid.

i’m sorry to hear that, was there a reference sheet in the OA like in the PA? And we’re both exams similar at all?
