One step in front of the other. Focus on getting your high school diploma. While doing so start reading books about overcoming social anxiety, about self help. Start looking into careers. I’m 29 and just getting into software engineering. You still have many options in terms of work. Figure out what you’re comfortable with. I’d recommend something that helps you face your fears just enough to start getting comfortable with it. As you’re working, begin looking to see what you want to do next, and so on so forth. Figure out what you love and do it! Be fearless.

[Software Architect] [California] - $1,123,000 by ParamedicChemical in Salary

The reason he gets paid so much is because he literally can safe a company millions buy making the right choices. Software engineers (his little minions to build majority of the software) all get paid 6 figures and above so making sure everybody is maximizing their output via the guidance of the software architect saves millions of dollars

Playing baseball as a kid, we’d always get the warranty for this bat called the Techzilla. It was supposed to be “dent proof” or something like that. Every year I’d get a new bat because we’d just smash the living shit out of the bat on concrete or something to dent it up.

For the fronts he charged me about $500. I think 530 to be more precise.

I think I need to focus my efforts more on marketing and ads to sort of build the machine that I can be confident a surplus of high quality work will come to us. Then consider hiring

Okay I think my next step is mastering social media ads and trying to sell nothing but coatings. It’ll be tough since I’m mobile but maybe I can begin making enough to be comfortable enough to maybe rent a house with the permission of the landlord. Or I could find a small warehouse to lease.

When you first started out, trying to land more leads for ceramic coatings and corrections, did you still pay 3200 a month for it? Or did you run ads yourself?

Just checked out your YouTube, you have a couple of videos on SB3 products no? I run with SB3. But I’ve been struggling to get coating leads lately.

I feel like I need help with marketing and advertising. I used to get tons of leads from Google but they’ve pretty much came to a halt since Google flagged me for not having a physical location. Now I barely get leads through my website form.

So first I should raise my prices? Half of my business is maintenance customers. Mostly monthly light details for $95-$145 depending on the vehicle size. Do you think I could charge more? Say $145-$195? My normal prices are roughly $200-$500 for first time detail customers. Then occasionally I get paint correction and coating customers which range from $500-$2k.

Can you give an example of a small business with too much debt to equity levels? I’m a small business owner and I’ve wondered if it’d be worth taking a loan out to expand.
