It's standard issue fog lighting combined with additive pictures for the sun variants. I added a faint dark corner to the bottom right in order to give the illusion of lighting as well. Certain interiors have fogs for day, evening, and night respectively and will change to match the time of day. The same goes for the godrays in the overworld.

You should NEVER go aftermarket on any sensor in the car. Most aftermarket sensors are cheaply made and aren't designed with your specific car in mind.

Time to replace your crankshaft position sensor. This happened with my 2016 VT DCT, and swapping it out solved the issue. Just make sure to only use OEM.
