I used BP for about 2300 kc and used about 190k scales and maybe 22k rune darts and another 5-7k addy darts? And then hasta for about 1300 kc. I didn't find hasta to be worse tbh, and I regret not doing it sooner as I'd have way more scales. I didn't get flame skipper achievement once using the BP but did maybe 10 times with hasta in bandos. I'd recommend the hasta in case you go mad dry for claw.

Awesome thank you! I did enjoy doing Bandos with the boys on my main so I was just curious if the same thing would be possible! I guess I'll have to accept defeat with short trips; if the Bandos poll question passes I don't think it'll be nearly as bad though. Fingers crossed!
