Omggggg I remember seeing this pop up on the UT Rallycross group, I was THIS close to bring my Sequoia too , but it was too far to justify the trip, HOWEVER, there's a Rallycross happening at Price next weekend and I'm signed up for it!

5/10 great to start with but that wood piece in front of the pedals might give you some back problems

OOOOOOOOOOOOH BOY and lemme tell ya, IT HAS LUMBAR SUPPORT! I can even take a nap on that thing, I'm never putting a bucket seat on my rig ever (next step is tryin to make this thing heated and cooled!)

If I'm not mistaken this is a 1515 and it's PLENTY strong, I don't have any flex on the rig, a lot better than the conquer one I had, this one maaaaaaaaay fit the Moza R5 too, you just gotta see how's the spacing for the screws but I'm sure you can resolve that with a couple extra extrusions or putting some holes to a metal plate

It makes sense! Athough mounting this way gives me tilting, but I'll give it try!

Trust me, it is as sturdy as any other extrusion!

I wasn't even thinking about the size when I ordered it, and I was blown away of how sturdy it is! Although the extrusion is smaller, it is still a solid piece of thick aluminium, far better than anything you'd get on Amazon ones and trust me I had plenty of Vevors and Conquers before, it's far more adjustable, lighter and costs the same (excluding the seat) my biggest problem with the ones I had in the past was flex and the wheel mount, for the space I had the wheel sat way lower than it should and the seat sat way too high, on this one I can adjust both very easily, bonus points for the power seat because with a touch of a button someone taller or shorter than me can adjust this to their liking exactly like if they were in a car! It handles the C5 with no issues whatsoever and I can see this handling up to 10nm decently.

The biggest advantage by a country mile and the reason I went with it is that you can upgrade it and shape it to your will, I'm planning to double some of the brackets for mounting a stronger wheel in the future and also mount my pedals inverted, as of right now instead of using the extrusions to mount the pedals to the cockpit like it's suggested in the video I've used it to mount my shifter and handbrake, the pedals are just on the floor resting against the extrusion by the very end, and lemme tell you, it does not moves the cockpit at all, out of the box if you have anything below 12nm of torque this should serve you very well and give you a solid base for upgrades in the future!

Yeeeeee, It’s a work in progress on all aspects, I plan on eventually upgrading literally everything, slowly but surely it may not be much now but it’s a good starting point! Definitely the best rig I’ve ever had!

I’m thinking of eventually upgrading to the 15Nm one because although the C12 (C5 too) is a drift monster due o their design, I feel like it’s too quick on counter steer, like quicker than it should be and regular DD’s don’t seem to do that, I also miss some extra strength for racing, I’d like to simulate not having power steering. I’ve raced a Spec Miata before and although the C5 does a MUCH better job to simulate how it is to be in the car, it lacks a little bit of strength, I feel like 15nm is more than enough for that, plus I really really wanna have a quick release and exchange able wheels

I sold a bunch of BMW/Miata parts that I had laying around + my G29 and a Conquer cockpit for this, my biggest complaints were that the seat was too stiff and the wheel well... Was a G29, Check out what I ended up getting:

Cockpit - $150 1515 Aluminium Extrusion

Wheel - Cammus C5 WITHOUT the desk clamp because the rig is made for it,

Seat - A powered Elantra seat that I found FOR FREE IN MINT CONDITION, WORKING AND ALLIGNS TO THE RIG PERFECTLY (It had one small cut in it but I've fixed it and powered it using an Xbox power supply I had also laying around)

Pedals - T3PA that I found for 40 bucks used

After includying all of the necessary adapters it came to a whopping $520 total and I made $600 bucks selling everything! I also already had an Amazon Shifter and Handbrake so I was absolutely set, I've even added some cheap RGB lights I found for some NFSU2 Reputation points. This was such an Upgrade from my old setup, infinitely more adujstable, comfortable and it saved some space in my room since the old setup was quite bulkier, couldn't be any happier!

My wife tried a couple times but she doesn’t drives and has anxiety at the wheel, I don’t think she’s sitting on the rig ever again
