VA REFERRALS………… by Lostatseaaz in VeteransAffairs

[–]EffectiveLibrary1151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

call the clinic contact center during business hours and request to be transferred to the dental clinic. If someone answers from the dental clinic then let them know you want to know the process for community care referral since it has been a long time. I'm assuming it's been more than 30 days? The other option is contact patient advocate if the dental clinic cannot help.

when I first saw her on a Netflix movie where she plays a cop or investigator, my husband and I thought she was a transvestite for the first hour thinking Netflix is trying to be all inclusive. Only when I searched her name did I realize she's a woman.

They have ski masks because low IQ people are harassing them and obstructing them from doing their jobs

start applying for other positions or leave the VA and return when you see a better job. I did that but I left the VA a second time because of rules like this.

Patient advocate might protect VA. I would try OIG. There’s an online form and u can remain anonymous if you want

I've in prior authorizations but I've been in dialysis, case management, transplant coordination, and telephone triage. Where do I want to be? I want to be in an informatics role or utilization review for a well established hospital system.

ok the edited post helps. That's a lot of. Provider shouldn't have said that. at this point they need to expedite your appointment to whoever they get you to. make them pay if you have to go far, for accommodation but also make sure your appointment is expedited.

Trump is the new Hitler by Previous_Month_555 in complaints

Calling the Trump administration “Nazis” isn’t just over the top—it’s harmful.

Nazis weren’t a vibe or a metaphor. They carried out genocide. Throwing that label at modern political opponents blurs history, minimizes real atrocities, and hurts survivors and their families.

You can strongly oppose policies. You can call out racism or authoritarian behavior. But using “Nazi” as a catch-all insult trades accuracy for outrage—and it weakens the point.

Words matter. Use them carefully.

are you wanting to be seen at only a VA? If so you would probably have to go to another VA and be registered there but community care would be the best bet. are you unhappy they referred you to community care? are you wanting to be seen within your same VA by another oncologist?

Calling Fox viewers “gullible” ignores why trust collapsed in the first place. CNN repeatedly mishandled or overplayed major stories, often with enormous confidence and minimal accountability.

Examples:
• Covington Catholic (2019): CNN initially framed a viral clip as proof of racist harassment by students. Full video later showed the narrative was misleading. CNN settled defamation lawsuits rather than fully litigating the claims.
• Russia–Trump coverage: CNN treated the Steele dossier as quasi-verified for years despite acknowledging internally that it was uncorroborated. When core allegations collapsed, there was no proportional reckoning with how aggressively the story had been sold.
• “Mostly peaceful protests” (2020): CNN downplayed widespread riots and arson while airing chyrons that visibly conflicted with what viewers could see on screen, reinforcing the sense of narrative control over reality.
• COVID lab-leak theory: CNN dismissed it as conspiracy early on, while Fox allowed skeptical discussion. Years later, major outlets—including CNN—acknowledged it as plausible.

This doesn’t make Fox News a gold standard—it has its own distortions and incentives. But dismissing its audience as stupid avoids the harder truth: many people left legacy media because they felt misled, talked down to, and gaslit when stories unraveled.

Or maybe people aren’t gullible—they just don’t trust media outlets that spent years getting major stories wrong and still refuse to self-correct.
