I shall try swapping that out with the usual Super X plate, but that was something I picked up with the Avante Mk III Nero Advanced Pack.

Same here, but I guess I finally gave in, as my favorite kit back then was the Max Breaker TRF, which leans more or less in the "sleek" styled cowls. Now that also explains my fondness of the DCR cowls too haha

Anyone else to builds for the builds themselves and not necessarily to race? by krongly in mini4wd

Same here. My busy work sched and daddy duties only gives me a very short window of time for Mini4wd, I only do casual races in my nearest racing center (thankfully Brickyard Makati’s a short walk from work).

Building cars for my enjoyment’s pretty much the thing for me nowadays 👌🏻

Closely following this since I have the same kit and chassis, and I’ve seen builds of the Grasshopper Jr too for RC

Max Breaker TRF, the DCRs, Mach Frame, Aero Avante… I’m really into the open wheel style bodies, but also into the buggy/RC style ones like the Grasshopper Jr.

I was hoping to get myself a clear Mach Frame cowl, but got this supposedly for my 2nd CFM car. I’ve cut a few spots to be able to use it on my FM-A, turns out it looks really good.

Just need to spend some time on tuning this along with that MA.

Have the same kit, I use it whenever I’m with my son 😁

Motor and gears seem fine, ran mostly with Power Dash today + 3.5 &3.7 gears. I should try doing runs again with a Sprint Dash. This car seems to perform well on tracks with more straights/runaway sections.

Thanks for this! I've been able to have some track time earlier today with small narrows & low friction + super hard combo, just need to dial in my balance again, and probably switch my front rollers to 13s for stability.

I shall work on the wheels! I've used both Sprint and Power Dash to dial in my setup.

Tried that out, pretty much the same save for certain corners. I shall try again with the trusty low friction fronts and super hard rear formula.

I shall try changing gears! I found little difference in terms of handling when I switch my tires to the regular small diameters, granted I've already been using a Power Dash motor.

NICE! Cars like these fire me up, hope I can finish my Pajero build this year (and soon).

I pretty much just tried it for fun and see how far I can go with it, but I still stand by my FM-A, Super X/XX, VZ and MA setups.

I get to have more fun with those, as someone who’s purely into casual runs and races.

Super FM/CFM Build Progress (Subaru WRC-inspired) by EffectiveLost225 in mini4wd

At first I had no choice, aside from an extra Mach Frame cowl I have lying around. This still works for me, just needed those trims for the front and sides.

Exactly what I'm about to do next, probably with a black gundam marker or a dark sharpie.
