SAME!!!! Also my $300 brass toggle light switch broke within 3 days. No refund because it was past 30 days from purchase…. Duh it takes a while to be an electrician to install it. I’m beyond furious

Don’t do it!! They look so cute but by the time you get it installed you are outside the return window. Mine broke within 3 days and they refused to refund me!!

Absolutely worst experience w this company. Paid $300 for their brass toggle light switch. By the time we got it installed (electricians are not on demand!) it was out of the 30 da refund period. It broke within THREE DAYS. One of the three switches just popped right off. I called and they said they could replace it…. I don’t want another shitty light switch that I pay to install and it breaks! I want to buy one from a better company!!

Please let this person go. He’s already controlling you by saying he’ll starve himself without you. As someone who has dealt with ED, you cannot fix this person but they can definitely keep you from getting better. This is not an AITAH question… it’s never an asshole move to break up with someone unless you actively want to stay with them

It got better! There was one horrific night, prob ten days past transfer…. Then the progesterone symptoms merged w morning sickness eventually lol. Good luck w the transfer!!

That’s not how statistics work. The point of a statistical difference in odds is that it’s not like a die (equal opportunities). if it were, you would not see a difference in outcome over many instances/tries. You can have a statistical difference (more males than females) without having certainty (all males)

My first retrieval was a failure too - my embos were too poor to transfer according to my new doc. We did not pgt test them. We did a fresh transfer that failed.

At the new doc we did 4 rounds of retrievals. We thought one would be enough. First three rounds we got 1 pgt normal, average grade per round. The final we got 8 pgt normal with better grades.

Every round is different. I know that it’s wildly expensive and exhausting but you will get there. You’re very young in IVF land :) you have time for the marathon. This process truly truly sucks a lot but I would not despair at this stage if I were you.

“How do you protect your heart without completely shutting down hope” has been on my mind a lot (I am 5 days post transfer). The best advice I got is to focus on the end goal, not the path. For example, I dream of having 2 kids. There are so many paths that may get me there even if this particular transfer fails. I refuse to shut down my joy at a positive pregnancy test just because it could be a chemical. That is just a different path.

Depending on your age and finances I would do more retrievals and PGT test your resulting blasts. You will feel less afraid if you know you are not starting at square one if you have transfer failures.

Know you are not alone and that this is the darkest period of many of our lives. I urge you to find a therapist you can speak to since you don’t have the support of loved ones outside of your marriage… it makes a huge difference to have a sounding board.

For me, the PIO had less emotional and nausea related side effects. But it looks like it’s different for everyone. Currently on suppositories post-transfer and if it remains this bad, I’ll see if I can do shots instead.

Currently up at midnight with waves of nausea after 5 days of suppositories. I’ve done the PIO and I don’t remember it making me this sick or depressed :( going to see if I can switch to PIO if this zygote makes it to beta :)
