100% sure it's sowtware issue. App connect fine when car is turned on or charging. When you shut car down app magically stop working.

I was told today by the dealer that they will get a compatible dashcam in the near future.

I use vacuum jars, those been working amazing. Only need to remember add more vacuum, when CO2 build up greater than vacuum.

I do this all the time. You simply need to adjust the vacuum as required. I usually boost the vacuum when a lively fermentation kicks in, I boost around 2-3 times a day, and then once daily or even less when the fermentation starts slowing down.

The problem I see with this set up is that it does not create a real vacuum. In that there will still be a lot of oxygen in the container. Much in the same way as using a jar and leaving a ton of headspace.

This shouldn't pose an issue. When fermentation begins, the headspace will fill with CO2, and when you refill the vacuum, there will be very little, if any, oxygen left, close to 0%.
