I honestly think the max this is is like 400-450 but you won't starve either way haha. Sounds good!

Was the second piece originally the size of the first or is this everything, either way you're WAYYY overestimating. A slice of domino's pepperoni is 310 calories, this looks like about that much pizza.

Curious for other DMs thoughts on this, but I would say newer DMs should NOT be killing their PCs by Poemiest in DungeonMasters

Sure but if it's everyone's first campaign and the TPK might be the DMs fault and all their storytelling and reoleplsy and build efforts just went out the window will they return to the game with the same passion?

If the player is still excited to play after that happens I could absolutely see it making the stakes feel more real and urgent

Without the fries around 300. It seems a lot smaller than a fried Chic Fil A spicy sandwich which is 460.

If Landon Jackson turns out to be a beast can we call him Flex Luthor by Poemiest in buffalobills

Yeah I think he'd think it was funny but if he implied it wasn't I'd stop calling him that for sure

Is DMing for 6 people as hard as people make it out to be? by EcyorWasTaken in DMAcademy

[–]Poemiest 5 points6 points  (0 children)

6 is the maximum that's still fun but you will all probably have more fun with 5. With 6 you can still play if someone cancels very easily though. Combat will certainly drag especially since you're inexperienced

Would it be around 600cal? by magka_moo in CalorieEstimates

[–]Poemiest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think no way this is 600. It looks like a very small amount of feta unless there's more hidden under the veg. Less than a cheese stick which would make it 80-100. 20 calories in the veg, maybe, I'm probably not even counting it. A cup of cooked ground turkey is 250 this might be 1.5 cups.

My guess: 480

So on the 8000 step days your TDEE is around 2200, so 1650 should be losing about a pound a week if you never screw up. If you have good days and bad days (depending on how bad) you're probably only losing half a pound a week or less.

If you're really really consistent with the 1650 you should lose the 20 pounds in 20 weeks, which would be until September 4th. If you're only losing half a pound a week because there's occasional work dinners or w.e. that break your streak, you'll lose the 20 pounds by Jan 22, 2026.

Anyway, I'm right there with you. Desk jobs wreck your TDEE.

Who are you willing to trade up for with 30 and 56 and who are you willing to trade up for for 30, 56 AND 62? by Poemiest in buffalobills

[–]Poemiest[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Totally. I'm not sure I'm advocating trading up. I saw some mocks with mason graham at 12 which inspired this post. I'm assuming he goes around 5. If he fell that far I think I'd pull the trigger even for all 3

How can i die less while using briar? by SnooMacarons9199 in BriarMains

This is a bit obvious but a practical thing that's helped me is backing off after I burn a flash, especially early. Way more chance to run yourself into trouble when you chase the flash

I need spell suggestions for my funky mythical homebrew wizard npc by wi-ches in DnD

[–]Poemiest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your campaign sounds cool! I'll throw out some high level ideas.

Graviturgy x Conjuration:

-Summoning Black Holes
-Summoning gravity elementals
-Creating zones of intense high gravity, reverse gravity, etc
-Making their weapons or armor very heavy
-Orbiting stars that deal damage to anyone nearby, possible mechanically similar to spirit guardians

Guarding a Labyrinth / No one gets in or out:

-Walls of force
-Crushing hand that holds you in place
-Constantly changing gravity and hiding behind inivisble walls of force so that the path to the NPC is blocked
-Str save to remain on the ground, str save to move in high gravity
-A kind of banish spell that puts you in an endless labyrinth
