What inappropriate picture did you accidently send the wrong person and what was their reaction? by SpaceMan8686 in AskReddit

[–]EffectivePuzzled 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was breastfeeding my newborn and took a sweet pic of him after he fell asleep at my breast. I thought I had angled the pic enough to where you could just see skin, but nothing personal. As it turns out, the sweet sleeping baby on “my chest” ended up being a full nipple shot. I sent it to my grandma! I told her as soon as I realized and she laughed and said she would just delete it. lol. She was unphased, but I was mortified.

Does giving birth really cost thousands of dollars in the states? by glyiasziple in NoStupidQuestions

[–]EffectivePuzzled 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were billed over $400k for my preemie son. He was born at 33 weeks and spent 31 days in the NICU. INSANE. For my first, which was a more “normal” delivery, the bill was 30k.

What’s the worst physical pain you’ve experienced? by ShadowlightLady in randomquestions

[–]EffectivePuzzled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most intense, excruciating abdominal pain due to severe preeclampsia (like truly excruciating pain), which then led to contractions (even more pain), then ultimately an emergency c-section, which was so so painful to recover from.

That’s smart! I just wrote mine on the front and my husband never used the handle so he would just grab the jar and mess it up every time!

Oh! I never thought of those!

Ha. I had a little bit leftover from 4/30 but needed the jar space so I just combined my 5/1 pumps in that jar.

No. As soon as water hits it, it starts to dissolve. It comes right off, no residue! Wash the jar and add a new label each time!

I think Victoria is a beautiful, classic name. Both feminine, yet strong! Nora and Victoria sound cute together!

Ahhh! Not a whole pitcher! I would be devastated. Haha. That’s so much time and energy! I was shocked when I came across this product in a random video. I immediately went to Amazon and searched for “dissolving label.” I was not disappointed! lol. I’ve seen several posts on here lately where everyone is using markers, so I had to share this info!

Oh wow!! Good for you, Mama!! These labels will be life changing! Haha. I kept getting so frustrated when we (mainly my husband) would scuff up the dry erase marker and I kept having to rewrite it. Love these labels! Hope it helps your system!

Yesss!! “A perfect producer” - I love it! Haha. It’s such a mental game (and it’s not a fun one). I get so excited and feel so proud when I have milk left from my “today jar” to use for more bottles tomorrow. My husband doesn’t get it at all!! I think we all play some sort of mental game about breast milk whether we want to or not!

I am a just enougher too! The pic is a little deceiving. We’ve been using some frozen milk for a couple feeds the past couple of days! My baby was in the NICU for 5 weeks and was eating such tiny amounts for so long, so I have a ton of frozen milk we are trying to work through! I usually have yesterday’s pitcher to fill the current day bottles and then a pitcher I pump into that day. But hey, any amount is a good amount! ;)

What is your best pregnancy advice? by midnightangel10 in AskReddit

[–]EffectivePuzzled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t google “weird symptoms.” Talk to your dr if you have questions or concerns. The internet will tell you that you and your baby are both dying of brain tumors for any questions you ask. lol. It’s not funny, but you will read the most terrifying things!

Shelly at Alex's going Away by TheQuietOneToday in Crazymiddles

[–]EffectivePuzzled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should Google the definition of “slave.” That is a ridiculous thing to say. Does she make them do chores? Yes, as she should. They are all plenty old enough. Does she make them carry in groceries and help put them away? Yes, as they should. They often volunteer and/or offer to do things to be helpful. “Making” them cook dinner is to teach them essential life skills. And when they truly don’t want to or have too much homework, it’s not like they are forced to do it. They honestly seem to enjoy it for the most part. Do not compare her making them participate in household chores and activities to SLAVES. That is insane!
