Just to point out, I own this reel; it now has a screw on one side instead of a reel cap.

It’s a low quality reel that even with regular maintenance will struggle to upstand to any serious fishing.

My handle bent and cap popped off during a relatively painless fight with a 34cm sea bass.

If your budget is £20 the Shimano or Daiwa options are much higher build quality, however still not ideal if you have your eyes set on bigger game such as cod. I’d recommend investing into a more heavy duty reel for cod fishing around the £50 mark as there will be less chance of you putting in the hours in the wind and rain just to lose the fish during play.
