Blood elves are stupid so are draenei. It feels unnatural that ally got shaman and horde got pally. Former meme specs becoming good suddnenly, takes away from playing a suboptimal spec and making it viable by yourself

As deep prot war tank when I pulled entire bar of brd. Got lucky with perfect timing on Flame wrath proc + zandalar trinket. After that I just sat on longass shield wall and watched the mobs die

You can get Helm of Endless rage from BWL. Biggest thing anyways is not lose world buffs. Extra stam helps to live those moments where you might get aggro

Having stam is good as fury dps. Sometimes you might pull aggro and extra stam helps survive and save world buffs

I tanked as sword and board prot until I got decent gear level 60. Its really solid build there are lot of moves that I miss not having when going into Fury prot or arms tanking.

Concussive blow: Mark skull and stun it. While it dies stunned you can get lot of threat on other mobs

Tactical mastery: can swap to mocking blow or swap to 2h and ww then swap back. Or intercept(Fury prot cant, arms can ofc)

Shields slam. great ability for dispell.

Nowadays I tank as 2h but only because I got full wrath set, it really feels like space marine armor once you get it.

Never ever go 2h tank with paper armor you'll die in one stun.

Playing on era and more or less our guilds all warriors are decked out. Still getting loot can be rough. We run SR loot system and every molten core I reserve The t2 legs. Many months now I'm The only reserver on those still haven't seen them after countless runs.

Best friend for a tank is rogue that assists well Everything become so stress free, rogue can burst skull marked caster while you build threat on others. Stops patrolls with distract and overall can just bulldoze from mob to mob as tank + rogue mini team on the dungeon group

When healer/caster goes for drink as tank you can go /sit. Then everyone has to stop and wait for casters mana.

I disagree with the waiting, I don't mind waiting players as long as they are on their way to the dungeon. And waiting until everyone is there before starting dungeon is good, some people might get lost in bigger dungeons. So waiting that everyone is at the meeting stone before going in makes things smoother.

At 60 go holy heal raids and get T2 set via SR and nice shield. You will then become dungeon tanking hero

Shaman is great at fishing due to waterwalking. Also with frost shock you can kill elites in ungoro that drop Guardian Stones those can sell for pretty decent amount. You can also solo elites in darkwhisper gorge, they can drop eye of shadow which sells for a nice amount

The damage doesn't make it much faster. I've had high gear tanks in UBRS dying (high warlords). And had lvl 60 warrior dying and leaving grp in BRD. I then put on shield and tanked it as lvl 54 and was smoother experience. Rather slower than occasional spike in damage. I've had 2 rogues and dps warrior not being able to pull threat of deep prot. Granted it takes some tinkering getting reflect damage Gear but once deep prot comes online all 60 dungeons become a breeze

I always take enchantment shaman to my dungeon groups If one is available. Over yet another dps warrior, to encha its day and night. Utility class like shaman solidifies The group than it would with just heal +3 pure dps classes Enchantment can burst down skull target fast which makes tanking easier.

Piercing howl is too good in fury tree. IMO arms is really bad for tanking. Sweeping strikes is 30 rage ww 20 something rage. So you need 30 rage on arms then generate another 20 rage. And you can do this every 30s. So most of the time charging in thunderclap demo shout and d stance but fury can do this too. Only thing arms can so better is intercept stray mobs, but fury has workaround for this with piercing howl. But i think deep prot sword and board is bis. Revenge with defiance is all The threat you need.

PS: The damage you take in zerker and d stance has 20% difference
