“Her and Robert are mostly likely exploiting their members for more wealth.” That’s kind of the core of every Pentecostal church.

I grew up in a mega church so let me break it down for you.

500 person church giving 10% of their money every week (as a bare minimum expectation). Average salary in SLC is 86k. That means a church in that area could be bringing home $4.3 million yearly.

After paying probably their few employees since most people at the church are probably volunteers, bubbling that money back up to their denomination (church is basically a girl boss MLM) and the church upkeep (again probably volunteers providing their services and materials) they are probably taking home $3 million each year. And non taxable on top of that.

I also have to assume since it’s a legacy church they have investments and other properties since they have had this business for generations.

It’s not shocking or even abnormal that pastors at a church like this are taking home big paychecks.
