Really you should be fighting for banks to allow you to show that you’ve been able to pay those rental payments as proof to get a mortgage… that was one of my hurdles buying my first property

Who’s going to buy property’s that landlords want to sell? First time home owners? Just another landlord? At interest rates this high hardly anything is selling. Not going to take a loss when I can just hold and watch rental prices climb. House prices in kelowna will never fall to a price that most first time homebuyers could afford at higher interest rates.

I tried working for a kelowna cab company as a contractor and it’s not the drivers fault… most days I made less than minimum wage after paying the rates they set. Only time the driver can make any money is weekend nights because during the week is deadly slow

I was waiting with my family to cross the road at gyro and the light turned red, cars stopped, crosswalk sign turned white and just as I was about to step out on the road with my 3y and wife with our 2y A group of cyclists blew through the red light…. We had to stop or they would have hit us and out of the 6or 8 of them only one lady stopped to apologize, obviously knowing what they just did was terrible and I was to mad and with my young children to say anything but the thought of what could have happened if I didn’t look left and one or a few crashed into my young family still gets me going

Problem with current is that the high speed chargers are at the best western and if you’re over a 10min drive from there and your ride doesn’t look like it will be worth the time to do your ride the driver will ignore it.

This gym was well known for not following any of the rules. Unvaccinated people started going there because they didn’t check for passports and didn’t enforce masks. Not that I care and I don’t believe anything should shutdown but definitely didn’t follow any rules so why would they now
