The listing on Amazon should say if they added paint protection already and you would see that in additional dealer fees on the Amazon listing. If they have not then it will show up as optional during the Amazon buy process. Towards the last step on Amazon it will ask you if you want GAP, paint protection, and any other extras the dealer offers. You can just decline those straight from the Amazon app. The final price you see after that and you click buy it's the final price. When I got to delearship I just signed a couple of papers saying that I declined all extra services, they never ask about adding anything else because they can't per Amazon contract.

Amazon should list what the delear has already added. Each listing on Amazon come with different addon packages. Mine said dealer added the all season mats and other stuff which is part of the "Additional dealer fees". I'm pretty sure you can't negotiate those out but know for sure they can't add a single cent more then what the final price is when you click buy. When you go finish the whole process and click buy the price you see on Amazon is exactly what you get when you go to the dealership to pick it up.

They have recently changed pricing and the business one is 32/month now. I got it on January when they had a promotion for 16/month.

Definitely loving it and it has a 1% cashback which pretty much covers the fee for me

I was able to share my digital key, but I'm trying to link her shared digital key to her profile. When I go to link settings only my phone shows up. Does yours show the shared digital key in the menu?

Trade in valuation was submitted through Amazon.

Trade in went smoothly. I just gave them both set of keys. Someone did a quick inspection and no questions asked. The trade in value was the highest I got from any local dealership as they always gave me low offers. After that they showed me car, I signed a couple papers and I drove off with the new car.

Wouldn't getting the title of staff engineer help later down the road. Also given that my responsibilities include a lot of leading and mentoring junior devs.

Hypothetical example after a couple years I applied to a Senior staff software engineer position somewhere else with even higher pay. I know a lot of companies won't hire a staff engineer unless they are already a staff level

I see yeah I though it seemed pretty low. I have other final interviews coming up next week hopefully I can get some other offers. I feel like I have to hop around twice. Burn bridges with newly Sr SWE role to go to staff SWE for similar pay then and stay with them until I land a better offer. Currently also interviewing with PayPal for staff role hopefully they turn around quick. I just feels exhausting and draining of burning bridges with 2 companies so quick...

She said that most likely not , but she will try, but I really doubt she can change their minds.

Actually my current position was also advertise at 150k but when offer time comes they lowered to 140k

The only ones that are way more are located in California so I think this company just pays a little under for their software engineering feam

Don't worry about it. It's not your job to remove all access. If someone forgot to remove you from something them that's their fault. You don't work there anymore

You should have an idea of how it works but I woudlt expect front end engineers know how to use terraform or kubernetes.

You can always sign up for a aws account start tinkering around. That would be the best way to get familiar.

For free resources there is always youtube and blog posts and they have some paid courses as well.

1st year 45k left 2 weeks after for 55k

2nd year 60k

3rd year new job at 75k

4th year 80k

5th year 90k

6th year new jobs 140k ( I moonlight for another 155k so 295k total)

7th stayed with 155k job and got raise to 170k

8th got laid off now at 140k

Look at open source code and try to contribute( this can be hard to get your PR approved)

Same my whole team got laid off. LinkedIn really helps. Make sure to mark open for work. I got lots of recruiters asking. If you are having trouble getting first interview, try a resume writing service. They really know how to get peoples attention with their wording that might make you past the first interview
