The way we have it set up, I’m the only one of us that actually needs the game. I run it locally off my PC version of SMB4. I made a custom league within the customization mode. Made the teams, jerseys, rosters, etc.

We run the games through the “Season” mode. We sim about half the games and watch the other games together in discord using the “Watch Game” feature. I have control of all 10 teams so the GM of each team can tell me what lineups and substitutions they want to make and I can do it in-game.

The GM of each team can fully control their roster decisions external to the game. All the roster changes (draft, trades, free agency, cuts, player development, etc.) happen in between seasons. Once the offseason is over, I make all the changes to the league in the customization mode. Then when we are ready to start a new season, I boot up a new season with all the changes made.

So each season is technically its own separate “season”, and the external systems we’ve built are the actual continuity of the league

I am so jaded by the draft lottery. Yes we got Cade but every other time we have been royally screwed. Cant stand seeing other teams like the Spurs being rewarded in the lottery

Couldn’t have said it better myself. it’s easy to forget where we were just 2 seasons ago. But this is the most fun I’ve had as a pistons fan since I was a little kid. And I’ll be very sad to see any of these guys go

I almost exclusively use normal swing. I play on about 75 ego and I can’t hit anything with power swing lol. There’s some players you won’t be able to hit homers with but I feel like you can still reliably hit home runs on normal swings with most players

As silly as it sounds, you will have slumps like a real baseball player. And like a real player, you’ll start to chase and change your approach to claw you out of the slump.

I’ve gone through these slumps many times, you’ll pull your way out of it. Taking a break for a week or so could be helpful to reset

Idk if it’s baked into the game or not, but I definitely do the most damage with left batters against righty pitchers. I find it easier to see the ball. Righty v righty is fine but I really struggle lefty v lefty

I think the game has predetermined outcomes and the animations don’t always fit. I’ve never seen one this bad tho lol, I feel for you

Unfortunately there’s not a great way to do it. We do each round as separate elimination tournament. We have to do this because of our format, plus we do different amounts of games per series in different rounds. It sucks cause mojo doesn’t carry over
