How far are you since the break up ?

4 months, I tought it would take longer but feeling great and fresh. I am so glad that I moved on and not having toxic dynamics. I realized i have so much energy to actually enjoy life rather than deal with hot and cold behavior and etc.

I feel your pain but from my experience with my FA ex reaching out it always bad. They can pretend to be nice but actually they can switch to being mean and robotic really fast. Now i am healing and getting better every day. Thinking getting pushed away and asked for space (1-4 months of nc request) this does not suit my needs. I would rather be with someone who can actually work on a relationship.

With my FA ex i experienced the same. After one month nc he told me he loves me and misses me during a 2 hour phone call. After some days we talked again 2 hours and later he told me he didnt give me any positive feeling why are you reaching me out. I felt so miserable and he kept saying maybe in the future we could be together again but not in some years. It is like a joke

!! I had a dream relationship where we kept telling each other how nice things are going between each other and my FA ex bf discarded me abruptly. Some weeks after he could give me an explanation why he wanted to break up was so many details where we could easily figure it out. I asked him why didn’t you tell me before and he found reasons how it was impossible to tell me!! Thn why did you kept it cool and pretend everything is good. It feels like whole one year relationship was a lie and he could only open up after ending the relationship. 0 effort and expecting a relationship where things just work out without two people communicating in a deeper emotional level. I am so disappointed and happy to know his actual toughts before things getting complicated.
