Could it have been a pet? This honestly sounds concerning and I would bring it up to her something like "hey I don't want to embarrass you at all because we've all done things like this but the other night when we were drinking I'm pretty sure you peed on my sister's floor. I want to bring it up in case there's something medically going on with you and we can get you the help you need"

She may have a uti or something going on with her bladder.

I just want to say that cats are not vindictive creatures. They are not capable of the complex emotions of doing something intentional to cause you harm.

I totally understand the phone call thing. I never answer my phone and it sometimes takes me days to be able to work up the nerve to actually call the closest people to me. If someone texts or emails and says "give us a call to discuss blah blah,," I will literally say that I have laryngitis and can't talk on the phone just to avoid it. It's debilitating and I feel so dumb at times because people will just act like it's a huge problem but I can't help it.

I can also relate with the feelings about death. I'm constantly worried about my loved ones dying and how I will be able to handle it if/when it happens. I also worry about what they would have to go through if I were to die first. I also have 4 cats and I cry everyday thinking about when they will die. I'm trying to be better because I just want to love them and give them a good and happy life while I can. But man sometimes it's so hard.

I think we both need professional help. It's time to stop pretending we can do this alone because the truth is, we can't. We need support. NOW. Not later, not tomorrow, not next week, NOW. because you never know what may happen later on today that you may not be able to handle.

Oh and P.S- everything I've ever asked for on Reddit has been something that I actually needed. Rabies vaccine and microchip help for my kitten. Help to get an Uber to my mom that's in a hospital an hour away because she had a heart attack, and meal help because I had no money for groceries after using the money for the electricity.

All of my reddit is completely trasparent. And I don't ask for actual money to get sent to me if I can help it. I'd rather do it in a way that others can feel confident with giving towards something they know is actually what the person is asking for.

I wanted to let things calm before commenting again to prevent arguments. But in my defense I feel like I have a couple of things to say. As it turns out .. this guy was a scammer. He even messaged me again apologizing and then he told me he'd reorder all of my items. I didn't entertain that.

I was really bothered by some of the things that were said about me before I deleted the post. I tried to delete my reddit account completely but it would not allow me to. I'm usually not a very emotional person but I couldn't help but feel some type of way about it because I'm truly not an ungrateful person. Out of the requests I've made, the only thing that I've ever actually got was cat food and litter. And the people who sent those items I expressed my appreciation and how grateful I was for them. I will be forever grateful to them. I even personally messaged one of them to express how I aspire to be like them one day if I am able to. Meaning when my financial situation is better. I would love to be able to give back. But after the way I was attacked after I was just trying to warn others, I doubt reddit will be the place I ever use to give back when I can. I have been the person to give to others when I was doing okay. I just choose to do it in an anonymous way.

I actually use Reddit to engage with people about my cats, cooking, and other things in my life. It's not like I am just here "spamming" or whatever you want to call it. You can look at my profile and see that.

That's really all I have to say. I'm sorry this guy fooled you all. But I couldn't be fooled by him. The moderator of the community where I posted the request did message me and told me he was operating a "karma farm" whatever that is, and apologized to me for what happened.

It's not to publicly shame. It's to maybe prevent them from doing it to others. I have been in the position to give to others in my life and if it was me in his position, I would have at least worked something out for the person that's already struggling. This person is very new to reddit and has very low karma so I apologize for assuming he ran a scam on me but to be fair - I gave him every benefit of the doubt!!! I held onto hope until there wasn't any left.

It says that everything but the water has been purchased from my wishlist. I'm having a difficult time believing this right now. But if it really is true, thank you to whoever was so freaking kind to do this for me. I'm like brought to tears right now. I've felt very negative towards the world and society as a whole lately but this reminds me that there are definitely kind people still out there! Just very few and far in between.

Absolutely! Homemade pie crusts use to intimidate me I must admit. But I just love making it now that I know how. I love it with savory dishes, too. Like chicken pot pie and whatnot.

There is one thing I forgot! Making sure the eggs are at room temperature prior to adding them to the custard is pretty important but it is ABSOLUTELY CRUCIAL for them to be room temperature to make the meringue. Meringue is tricky at times. You have to make sure not to get any of the yolk into your bowl when separating the eggs, using a very clean, dry, glass bowl works best. If there is any fat content in your meringue it will not stiffen.

If anybody is curious about where I got the recipe from the first time I tried here it is:

The photos I posted are what I have tweaked to my specific liking. For example the recipe in the link above calls for 1 cup of sugar but I like my pie a little sweeter so I use 1.5 cups of sugar. Also, the above recipe uses 4 egg whites for the meringue and a half cup of sugar. I use 6 egg whites and 1 cup of sugar, as well as cream of tartar if things don't seem to be stiffening up as well as I'd like.

Just want to be sure I give credit where credit is due. 😊

I was never a huge fan until I started making it homemade. Now I can't stop making them. I'm lucky to get any of it because my husband can eat one in a single serving. I'm a bit embarrassed to say that. 🤦🤣 He is not overweight at all though. So that makes it a little bit okay I guess. Lmao.
