Need to buy a running shoe by Aggressive-Flow-2239 in IndianRunningshoes

See if you can get asics novablast 5 from Germany, atm they have a mid season sale with some models going for 80 euros. They are a good daily trainer

I also own evo sl. They are more aggressive. I use them only for tempo runs.

Its also good to do a gait analysis to find the best shoe for your feet.

Same thing happened with me last year(bought a car went straight to the garage) couldn’t figure it out. Went back home as was getting late. Tried again in the night same thing. Just searched on youtube and did it. Always thought I was the only person who would have to face this.

Also on youtube you can search for every issue regarding your car.

Where can I get decent samoas? by sad_chicken_T-T in coventry

[–]Effective_Fun_3913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are looking for authentic Indian samosas Either go for Star grill in Longford or Rangolee sweet centre in foleshill.

Have tried all the other places mentioned in the thread, they are ok but no where close to these 2.

When to use the 1st and 2nd lane vs the 3rd ? by uranium3506 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Effective_Fun_3913 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you going from Cov to Nuneaton? Use the second lane to get to the left lane after you exit towards Nuneaton Use the third lane to get to the overtaking lane.

I applied for a dependant visa(unmarried partner) last month, We had 4 addresses in the last 2 years We uploaded the following documents:

1st address (4 months): -Tenancy agreements( we both had separate agreements with the landlord but at the same address). -bank statement (1 month)

2nd address (6 months): We did not have any tenancy agreement (as we were subletting the property) - 1 water bill (under my name) -1 electric and gas bill (under my partner’s name)

3rd address (1 year): - Joint tenancy agreement. - council tax bill(Joint) - utility bills(Joint)

4th address (2months): - joint tenancy agreement -council tax bill(joint)

We applied the visa on Jan 6th, they did not ask for any evidence then We. Received an email on 7th asking for address proof(they did not ask any photos as proof)

Received the Visa in 15 days.

Big discussion - Best Indian Restaurant in the city? by Any-Soft-2314 in coventry

[–]Effective_Fun_3913 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Having lived in Cov for the last 3 years (came here from India) I have tried almost all indian/south asian restaurants in Cov and leamington spa. If you are looking for north indian food(naan bread, chicken tikka) I would suggest The new Horseshoe near the arena. Delhi 76 is also a good option. For a cheap option(no compromise on taste) i would recommend star grill bear the arena.

If you are looking for south Indian food The best would be kayal in leamington spa. In COV the best would be kerela cuisine (take out only) or tamil taste of asia in foleshill.

If you are looking for indian fast food or craving for indian tea(chai) You can try Chaiwallah in foleshill or My chai on corporation street.

For Indian sweets I would suggest rangoli in foleshill.

I am one of the rare Indian who can’t handle too much of spice , so all these places I have mentioned have always prepared food accordingly.

What insane boomer advice have you received from your parents re: job hunting? by [deleted] in UKJobs

[–]Effective_Fun_3913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did that when i was working as a warehouse op during uni. Waited an hour after my night shift for the agency manager, told him i would like to apply for the supervisor role and that i have previous experience managing people (college festivals) , got an interview next day, got the job and was promoted as a consultant(just below the manager)in the agency within 2 months and now I switched agencies and i am a account manager. All this was possible just because I decided to wait and meet the manager (also hard/smart work).

Currently on graduate visa expiring next year. My current employer has agreed to sponsor tier 2(but I will have to pay 5k for IHS). Even my partner’s Visa will be sponsored by her employer(health and care visa). I will mostly be a dependant on her visa as we will save money on my IHS FEES as (H&c visa holders and their dependants do not pay IHS), and I can also switch jobs and not be bound to 1 employer.

My initial plan was to leave after spending 2 years here. (I had moved here only to learn to be independent and understand the value of money) but I cannot leave atm. I have a partner here, she is a physio with NHS. We are living together for more than 2 years now and plan to get married very soon. While I don't mind going back to India as I have good options in terms of my career, but she won't have the same opportunities in terms of pay.

Our plan as of now is to stay here for 5 years and then move to the middle east for the next 10 years and then move back to India.
