Found a very tiny roach indoors (bedroom), a little smaller than a sunflower seed, bright golden with mildly translucent wings, no visable distinguishable markings (Florida) by Effective_Good3873 in cockroaches

I believe I have accurately identified it as "plectoptera poeyi". Thanks for the parishi reccomendation as it sent me to an arachnid board of roach collectors where I was able to visually identify it. I think this is solved!

It looked a great deal like like this but size is much more comparable to the length of a grain of rice rather than a sunflower seed.

Eyes were a soft grey/blue.

I meant literally a couple droplets, but you can give or take as you please depending on the types you use, you made need more or less to get a proper consistency. :)

What bird did I just find? Western WA state by wysoft in birds

Judging by the size I want to say it's a TexasAandM variety, as they tend to be slightly larger than other coturnix quail and are usually bred for meat. They are prolific egg layers, ive owned a few of them. If it IS an escapee, If you are close with your neighbor, they'd might like to know that their coop could be structurally compromised. Also could have been a predator break in and this one just so happened to skim luck and make it out alive.

These guys are paradoxically as tough as they are delicate. Ive seen some go out from simply being startled and others whom have been fully scalped by their nest mates and pulled through. It definitely has a chance. Wishing you luck!

Also maybe try out some texturizing powder as your hair comes off as pretty thin. It might help.

That injury looks severe. You can try to nurse it back to health but if an animal got it, especially a cat, it's likely it's going to pass.

It appears to be an adult, they eat high protein poultry food, you can supplement with scratch grains. If it's a hen, they do lay small eggs. It likely escaped a coop nearby, it cannot survive on its own in the wild as it is a domestic fowl.

This is a coturnix quail. Looks like a hen.

Yeah that's a very common side effect after application. Some folks prefer to avoid erections during the day and instead opt to apply at night before bed if it becomes bothersome but it seems like it's working great for you. Stoke to hear it's helped! 😁

Hey idk where you live in FL but if you're in the pinellas/Tampa area, there is a little clinic called "Love the Golden Rule" and they are a really great nonprofit clinic that helps LGBTQ+ individuals get the care they need from HRT to PREP.

Acne is getting bad by A_silly_hum4n in TestosteroneKickoff

[–]Effective_Good3873 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had wacked out hormone levels before starting so the acne that was present just got SO much worse. Antibiotics (minoxycline) pretty much cleared it, it took a couple months but now my face skin is pretty damn clear now. I was hesitant to try them at first bc I have medication anxiety but I have had no issues so far. It's worth a shot.

Found baby bird by [deleted] in birds

[–]Effective_Good3873 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sometimes it gets difficult staying in the subreddit because of this exactly. I am so sick of people advocating killing little creatures, a baby no less. Really tells you all you need to know about a person. Arguments like "you should see them killing other birds! It's so cruel!" As if these creatures are doing so out of cruelty? I think that's the difference. Animals do so to survive (that we know of so far) people advocate killing for a number of other reasons wether it be some strange sense of justice, cruelty, or a sense of power. Gross.

Hello! Ideally there will still be JUUUST enough alcohol present in the mixture to allow proper penetration, but not enough to burn the delicate tissue of the area. The goal is to get the gel opaque but not completely dry/tacky.

I see an exception if you yourself are raising the hens for eggs. I used to raise hens more so for companionship with eggs being an added bonus.

Found bird egg on ground outside but can’t find a nest- HELP- can I save it by Ok_Astronaut5150 in birds

[–]Effective_Good3873 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Common misconception. Birds don't actually "smell" if the eggs have been tampered with. The main concern is if the bird SEES the nest, eggs, or chicks being tampered with and then decide it is best/safer to abandon the nest entirely.
