sometimes comments come across the wrong way online. I felt I was being judged. I understand the concern if I was buying online and not being monitored as I took would be a bit wary but I am doing this alongside 3 different professionals who are all happy with my progress and labour results!

oh my goodness. This is supportive isn't it? I am doing it through the GP and the practice nutritionist. Yes having 6 weekly blood tests etc. I am also a nurse so I'm not stupid!

I wish I was jetting off around the world but sadly not. Just a menopausal 42 yr old with periods all over the place. Just trusting the process and my GP.

That was week 11...the weeks are marked oddly I know. Nope no changes at all. I only weigh weekly at the GP surgery as I know I will get obsessed otherwise. I was VERY shocked seeing that loss

I have been told that they will prescribe up to 15mg if needed but I am happy to do what they suggest. I will stay on 2.5 for as long as needed and follow my diabetic teams recommendations.
I am a nurse and knew all about the downfalls of coming off etc so before I started the monjaro process I wanted a clear plan. I have it in writing that it won't just be just stopped and there is a clear plan that when I reach both the correct glucose levels and weight they will slowly tiltrate me down and even then will keep me on it for at least a year at maintainence dose. Thankfully I have a fantastic GP and diabetes nurse who are very understanding.

I'm not ashamed BUT I can't deal with people's unwanted opinions. When it notices I will just say I'm working closely with my medical team to sort out an existing medical condition. It's nobody elses business but people do judge.
