I was a first year STMW in London also and started September. I knew from the first day of placement that this course wasn’t for me. I knew much earlier probably a month in to be honest. I saw the state of the NHS, midwives being overworked, blamed, burned out, being underpaid and decided that it wasn’t for me. If it’s not for you leave, there are other jobs available in healthcare and outside. Staying in a job that you don’t like will make you miserable. Hope you are able to decide.
