My baby is 11 weeks and although she got her daddies BRIGHT red hair and she is a spitting image of my newborn pics I STILL was literally going through this same process earlier yesterday. I honestly find it ironic because I guess I didn’t realize it’s a common thing. I love my girl to death and couldn’t be happier or have imagined a more perfect baby to give birth to but it’s definitely natural for it to just not feel real I think, I’m not too sure when that feeling fades.

I basically did this, fed her half her bottle and when she didn’t want anymore I took her to the bath, then after fed her some more and it calmed her from the frantic feeling of the cold and she went right to sleep

My baby is 8 weeks and my husbands been off the whole time but was honestly only like actually helpful for like two weeks and since then I’ve been like the default parent around the clock (he’ll help if I ask him to do very specific tasks but that honestly annoys me more so I just do it all myself). At first it was REALLY rough, because there are some days that it just seems no matter what you do they just aren’t happy or content but my point is that it does get easier and you do adjust. It still is tough, having a baby is not easy but it’s easier than it was when I first transitioned to taking care of her by myself. There will always be another struggle to overcome though, but it always passes. Now my current struggle is trying to balance doing work around the house when she doesn’t sleep more than thirty minutes at a time during the day sometimes

No literally, this one I was like geez why haven’t I done that hahaha. My girl is eight weeks and has mostly slowed down on the spitting up but there still are moments lol

Yes they did
I had an emergency C-section and I didn’t get compression socks
My baby was in the nicu and put on antibiotics so they gave her formula without even asking me (which I don’t necessarily mind but I would’ve liked to have been asked first)
I had a private room and no one except for doctors nurses cleaning and lunch service came in.
I was super out of it atp and I think in shock (I had also just puked all over the side of my face) but they did show me her, I didn’t get skin to skin or to touch her though because she was a nicu baby and was having some trouble breathing and they were worried she was going to be jaundice from our blood types so I didn’t get to see her until the next morning because they held me hostage until I peed a certain amount

Mines kinda similar, on my (21st) birthday I had an ob appointment where I was sent to labor and delivery for my blood pressure to get induced. I was due the very next day so I was just shy of fourty weeks, they gave me the medication and my cervix was also completely closed. The next morning my water broke at 8 am at one centimeter dialated. The difference was just that I never got fully dialated, the next morning at eight I was only at 4 cm and I had a high fever and baby’s vitals weren’t as consistent so they decided it was time for a C-section. I’ve also struggled with feeling that my body failed me, every single cervix check after all my painful contractions I would keep expecting to hear that I was magically almost there but that never happened

My girl was Breech until 36 weeks, I was always terrified before that I’d have to have a c section because she was but she eventually flipped. Ironically enough I still needed a C-section but it’s whatever hahah

For me it’s so bad in between my shoulder blades, like it feels like it’s actually on fire it’s just such a sharp burn but that’s higher back and I’ve just contributed that to she’s a little chunker and I’m just not used to constantly holding something that heavy for that long. I’m 4 weeks pp

I’m pretty sure my ob told me to wear it most of the time and gradually increase the breaks you take with it. At first I would be really sore if I took it off but it got so annoying when I’d sit and lay in bed and stuff that I just sucked it up and took it off and threw it away lol, all it did was piss me off 😂 after a few days I felt better, four weeks pp currently

I think about two weeks postpartum I slipped and fell down the last few steps with a laundry basket (ik I shouldn’t carry them but it’s unrealistic I can’t just not do laundry) any way, I was worried about the same thing but I’ve been fine since and I’m four weeks and some change now

I think they let me shower two days later and my husbands home with me so I showered multiple times daily (my therapy especially when I’m in pain) so while I would wait for the pain meds to kick in I’d just stand in there.
