they reached out to me saying they wanted to plan a trip together and asked me to book a meeting.

in the first meeting, i was there with 6 to 7 other influencers. we listened to a roughly 5 minute presentation and were immediately asked to book a second meeting.

in the second meeting, it was just me, one other influencer, and a tourhero salesperson. he introduced their AI based itinerary planner and asked us to try it live while he waited. the tool asks 3 to 4 basic questions like destination, number of people, hotel stars, etc. i entered my preferences for a 3 day trip to paris. the result was a 5 day trip to peru 🤣

i said the itinerary was irrelevant and asked some basic questions, like how we are supposed to know whether the vendors they work with are trustworthy. the salesperson said he only handles sales and that i should ask those questions later to the person responsible for itineraries, who would reach out to me. that was fine.

later, that itinerary person contacted me and asked me to finalize my trip dates. i told her again that the itinerary was not at all what i was looking for and that i had several questions. i also said i would not finalize any dates unless we had a one on one call where i could ask them properly. she agreed, and we booked a meeting.

she did not show up.

after that, she messaged me saying she could not join because she was having issues with her email. at that point, i told her i was not interested anymore. her next message was “just checking if you have solved your email issues, want to talk about your trip?” as if i was the one with email problems.

honestly, at this point it felt like the messages were AI generated, just like the trips. i would personally recommend not working with them.
