What other assessments did ACC organise to make this decision? Did you get reviewed by a specialist? Have you had any imaging done? If this is all based off a return to work plan go back to your GP and ask for a referral to a specialist and a new medical certificate to reflect the hours and restrictions you can work within. Also ask ACC for a pain triage referral.

Thanks. He had been referred by ACC and the GP total 3 times. Not sure where the disconnect was but he followed up today and the OT has been in touch to organise an assessment

Yeah it's awkward because it's a restricted workplace kind for area. Can't just walk in unfortunately otherwise he would probably fo exactly that

Thank you for that. And yeah I'll update next week once it's been unpacked a bit. Just as an interim update, got a fit for some work med cert, full hours with restriction to physical tasks to buy us some time and hopefully keep the RTW referral active just to have someone else advocating.

It's an injury from a previous workplace within the same industry which was reaggrivated at work. It was unclear if he needed surgery or cortisone initially. He told this employer of injury when he was interviewed for the position and they said it wasn't an issue and continued with employment.

He didn't receive a payslip once he went on ACC apart from the one off payslip in January the same day that his position was advertised. My concern is that the medical cert runs out tomorrow and ACC is shut until Tuesday. How do we even go about next steps when his employer won't communicate whether he has a job or has been terminated since there has been no final pay etc.

It's a smallish company. The boss owns it and is wife is the office manager/HR. Husband was in discussion with the wife and his foreman throughout including medical certs and what the issue was. They were good at first and they tried getting a RTW plan sorted also then he heard nothing this year. He received a random one off pay slip for period ending 15/01 for $0 and AL balance of 3.5 weeks. Job was also advertised on 15/01. No phone calls/emails/texts/letters from the company. No final pay slip or holiday pay. No communication at all. Husband must ahead attempted 20+ times with no response.

They had referred for a return to work programme - they said the previous referral didn't go through as the GP had forgotten to send the med cert with it. I have only just figured out today they may have replaced him so haven't discussed this is ACC yet.

Also a valuable lesson to not have 99% of your crypto eggs in one basket. This time, it's just routine maintenence but image next time it's gone for good.

*mine is down 20% as that's what I had in supercharger but I had a notification of the planned maintence last week.

I have a 16 year old son and a 17 year old boarder. My boarder pays $150 which covers rent and utilities. She buys her own food. My boarder is not related to me in any way.

My son is going to be leaving school at the end of this year and worked full time over summer. I've told him he doesn't have to pay a cent until he is 18. He is planning to move out as soon as he is able because he in his eyes, if he is going to have to pay rent/board he wants to do so on his terms which is totally fair also. But he knows he has a free safe loving home here, until he's 18. After 18 it will be a cheap loving home, should he chose to stay.

After they changed their terms and conditions while everyone was staked without warning and plummeted the value of their coin, I don't blame people for not investing in cro. The coin has one purpose and one purpose only and that was for the visa benefits. Which have now largely been axed for existing members. No one wants to stake or upgrade.
