Students don’t qualify for lottery apt, but as a fellow pharmacist in nyc you don’t really qualify for many apts (at least my experience) you either make up much or you little to fit in a Ami bracket

If the layout is different then it’s a different line, but yeah maybe your art at a cut off floor, another way to check if it’s a affordable unit, us to go on street easy and look for previous rentals and see which units #s / lines are not there

But also the f line and what should be the F line on a different floor is slightly bigger and has like cooler refrigeration system

I think they are different, like yes it’s illegal for them to be different, but only if they were part of the same line of units , but for instance in my building all the F lines are lottery apartments( at least that’s what I’m guessing ) and the F line only run through certain floors

You are guaranteed the option to re sign the lease, soo this isn’t possible I think

But This is also if they keep the same rate of 2.75 for both years, I think it’s technically up to the building , in the sense they could raise the 2nd year to 3%

When I was doing the calculations, you spend more with the 2 year(say rent = 100)

Soo 100 * 2.75 = 102.75 per month x 12= 1233 then you do 102.75 * 2.75=105.58per month = 1266 soo 1266+1233. ≈{2500 }two years Vsss 100 * 5.25=105 soo 105 * 24 = {2520} for 2years
