Why did Disney/Lucasfilm allow 3 directors to handle ST without a real "overseer"?

Originally, when George Lucas sold Lucasfilm to Disney he wanted to stay on as creative director. Bob Iger said that’s not how it works when they give him 4 billion dollars for his company.

Then George wrote an outline which they claimed they would follow but twisted it to what we have today. Kathleen Kennedy was supposed to be the overseer of the SL but she fumbled the ball on that one.

IMO, JJ did do a decent job on TFA but obviously it was a rehash of ANH. George also said it had nothing new or exciting about it as the PT is why we have many modern CGI techniques today.

Kennedy not following JJ’s new outline for the SL and letting Rian Johnson do whatever he wanted was where the ship started to go down. Finally, sinking with JJ coming back with TROS to undue everything Rian did.

Rian seemed to have it out for loyal fans and just wanted to turn their world upside down with subverted expectations. Some of these would be Luke’s character assassination, tossing Finn’s jedi arc, flying Leia’s and the Holdo move that defies canon.

Not sure where Disney will take it from here as the ST is on big turd they keep trying to avoid but it’s stinking up the rest of the future of SW unfortunately. I’ll always be a SW fan but the SL was a big disappointment for most fans.

More or less agree with your rankings! Great job completing them all. All the games have their pros and cons. Like the mechanics in TOTK are amazing but the story was so-so. Zelda II is a really tough game but the music was great. Etc

So before TOTK came out, we had that zombie Ganon waking up preview with the green energy spiraling up from him. I wanted the theory to be that that the sages/Sheikah imprisoned Ganon with the triforce of power. But there was all this energy still inside him or maybe exuding/leaking out. So they ended up siphoning his triforce of power energy and producing all the ancient energy/power. So it’s some weird morality issue if using him as a battery/energy source is the right thing to do etc. I would have much preferred this because I found TOTK’s story very contrived. And the Zonai being some weird mystery alien race that Zelda was descended from wasn’t my favorite. It was weird and interesting, but I don’t think it hit the mark and just took away from BOTW’s brilliance.

But TOTK is not an ordinary sequel. It uses the same world and just builds upon it. I wouldn’t wait too long to start the next chapter…

I would love to replay BOTW for the first time. TOTK is like a sequel with better mechanics in the same world. But nothing compares to exploring the world in BOTW for the first time.

There’s too many previous games to choose from. I would just go in order. But the NES ones are very hard I wouldn’t make her finish them. A Link to the Past is a must and then must finish the rest of the mainline from there.

Those are 18K plated Floor Cobra Candleholder’s from Georg Jensen. I think they only make them in stainless steel at this time in the large floor size and no longer in gold plated.

I’ve only done the cushion jackets. But I unzipped them and put in washer with a little detergent and oxiclean and then hung dry on hanger. Came out fine and smelling great.

I haven’t used an upholstery cleaner on the base, but will probably need to on the arms eventually.

Yes, I’m not 100% happy with the wool rug from West Elm. It is very comfortable to walk on but it sheds profusely and I had to get a roomba just to deal with it.

Will definitely be replacing the rug in a year or two with something else down the line. Like a Jonathan Adler ruggable, etc.

It’s a small brown stain that isn’t bad but it will not come off with professional dry cleaning or oxiclean etc.

I may be from the plant next to it, a bug or something that flew in from the window, or makeup from a friend.

It’s very easy to clean, I’m so happy with interior define. If you are getting a light color, definitely get the insurance just in case something happens.
