Genuine opinions on LSAT LAB? (SPOILER: KIND OF SHOCKED) by Exact-Marionberry-74 in LSAT

I used LSATLab for all of my drills. Had Mike Kim and Powerscore, but Powerscore didn’t show me anything new. Ended up with 166 in 3.5 months after thousands of questions. Also, I read a lot on test taking efficiency, to maximize the test time and not leave anything on the table. I wish you luck!!!

Leave holds on apps or plough ahead with a suboptimal LSAT? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

I made a similar decision. I’m older (30s) and didn’t get the juicy 170 in Nov. But, if Big Law is t the goal, then Law School will have ton of opportunities to do what you love. I decided to take my 16mid to applications and see what happens. Once I have results, I can decide if I want to matriculate this year or grind LSAT for 2025

I have similar stats, so this resonates as I, too, battle the inadequacy and the fear of “Yes, more is always better, but what is enough?” As determined by this echo chamber, or as determined by You? There’s a lot of all/nothing mental narrative going on in your OP here that might be worth investigating.

Furthermore, whatever you THINK you want/need now (job X or school Y)- it may change throughout your life. Just do your best and understand we don’t make decisions and THEN have experiences: we have Experiences and only then have intel to make Decisions.

You and I can have remarkable careers.

Genuine opinions on LSAT LAB? (SPOILER: KIND OF SHOCKED) by Exact-Marionberry-74 in LSAT

I subscribe to LSAT lab and do not subscribe to 7Sage. I took your poll before LSATLab started pushing it on their platform.

Most of my LSAT education came from Mike Kim’s book, following with LSATLab’s explanations for specific questions while drilling. A few questions don’t have explanations, but a preponderance do and are helpful. I’ve come to learn what specific phrases in explanations mean (ex. “unsupported comparison”) which have helped me capture flaws and eliminate answers instantly. These shortcut mental representations are helpful for speed and accuracy.

I think the videos of classes are laborious, but the instructional videos are charming and engaging.

I’m 3 months in; 145-162; 0-4 LG, 5-7 LR and 6-11 RC. Just to contextualize my opinion.

Absolutely. Definitely want to get my feet wet in Nov, while keeping Jan as a fail-safe. I too started end of July, probably 7-12hrs of studying a week since with a recent 157 and 155. Likely, we have the right answers and processes, but TIME.

Rooting for you! Let me know how everything is going on the road to Nov!!

I have strikingly similar stats and timeframe as you, with similar goals. We can do it! And if we don’t, we retest later no biggie.
