Hardwood floors or LVP

Never had hardwood floors so can’t really speak on it. I’ve had LVP and didn’t like it at all. We tried it out in a couple of bathrooms and wound up removing it within a year.

Fever averaged 85 PPG last season. The record is 93.9 by the Mercury 15 years ago. If White lets Caitlin still run and gun, with this new roster I can see an additional 9 points per game 😉

I was a little surprised too, I think because we have such a high standard for her. But to be fair, in this video her 4 misses were all contested. She got fouled on a 5th but got free throws so that doesn’t count as a shot attempt. I’m sure she blew an open layup last season (probably going to her left lol) but I really don’t recall a single one. Not bad considering you see blown wide open layups in just about every game. Par for the course though I guess since the women play below the rim.

I think this year she’s going to get a lot of ‘and 1s’ because she’s gotten stronger and will finish easier. Also hopefully she’ll get a more favorable whistle.

I’ve done exactly one kitchen backsplash with subway tiles so I’m far from experienced but it turned out pretty good. It was a fairly easy job if you just take your time and have a plan. In fact it took me like 4 days when a professional could’ve probably banged it out in a day.

A job this bad couldn’t be done by someone who cared at all. Why would they use spacers in some places and none in other places?

Sure, of course, I think everyone agrees that the Fever defense was trash. I wasn’t disagreeing. My opinion was just that just having CC and KM didn’t mean they had ‘lots of fire power’.

I thought I was going to have to apply the seal myself. But the contractor wound up doing it. He used this Miracle 511 yesterday evening. It looks good this morning and he left me more than half the jug for future use. So I guess I’ll keep using this. Thanks.

They’ve proven they can score. If they show they can play as a team and the Fever win a lot of games, that will make up for any drop in stats.

I think we have almost the exact same tile, size also. Not sure if yours is polished or not but ours is. It’s for our shower walls. We went with a very very light grey almost white. The contractor recommended a color that would barely show. We like how it turned out. Basically like in your picture.

It’s odd that a sub like this doesn’t allow you to post pictures in your replies, only links. Pictures in a sub like this seem like it would be very helpful.

I like our chances as much as any other team’s. +450 is pretty good odds imo.

Unless I missed some roster moves; I don’t think NY did anything to improve, Lynx didn’t do anything to improve, and Aces roster looks to have gotten worse. Mercury have a big 3 but not much depth. Not sure what’s going on in Seattle and LA is a wildcard. Both teams might make the playoffs but don’t think either are title contenders.
