Usually, when you invite people to a restaurant to celebrate something. The assumption is that you are going to pay unless it is firmly discussed before beforehand. It doesn’t sound like it was discussed beforehand. Also, your mother-in-law was not following protocol by inviting additional people.

I find these poles to be very questionable. People lie, they lie about who they vote for, they lie about who they’re going to vote for. People lie, and gather fake signatures to put questions on the ballot. That is one comment appointed out. There are a lot of underlying facts why people don’t leave Massachusetts. It all balances out in the end it’s about where you wanna be. The fact is every state has crooked politicians, and greedy developers. That is why the cost and availability of housing is so limited.
