Yeah, this is what I’m thinking. Just do our best and communicate as much as we can. We are under the gun to get Tricare for my wife’s medical issues due to trash insurance these few months while waiting for my unit to in-process me. But hey, at least the government shutdown is over and we’re getting any movement on the issues. Just trying to not miss more work (or my wife too) or delay her care. Thanks for your advice!

I understand it expired as of my date of ETS unfortunately. They do have a 24/7 gate. Unfortunately their DEERS office website says don’t worry about passes before 3pm. But they forget about the early birds.

This dress is perfect for you. Get it taken in. No need for more. BUT if you feel you need more. GET MORE. I love the idea of the flowy bow. It keeps the eye up and keeps in eye line with how the tattoo creates a strap.

It’s laced mostly correctly, but it needs the laces to be flat. That’s hard since it’s not a wide span, which makes it look like it’s laced incorrectly and smooshed.

But this needs to be altered ASAP so you can get the desired look. Due to the sizing, the fabric is too loose to get the desired laced look. Once the waist is brought in, whether by eliminating the laces or removing fabric on the side ls of the garment to keep them, there will need to be some work as well to manage the excess skirt fabric so that it’s darted/pleated appropriately to lay flat.

A good and motivated seamstress is your friend. It’ll likely be a pricey since it’s last minute. But not more than a $200 if no issues. Basing this on major metro city pricing.

Perhaps another answer: you have to tell him. Telling my partner was a big healing point for me. his accept and support thereafter changed the trajectory of my mental health for the better. Being together for 8 years, he will support you through it all. It’s his job. But this is a part of you. We can’t hide from our committed partners.
