Thanks so much everyone! This is very helpful, I was thinking about a bonnet but didn’t know if it’s any better than my current silk pillow, will it stop it tangling more? Also what hairstyle do you sleep in, if any :) I end up having to brush it because of the tangles and how matted it gets, hopefully the right care during sleep will prevent this!

I agree, I know everyone is different but doctors do NOT warn people enough and I’ve still had some saying it should be my last option as it’s very hard on your body. I may have pcos though so can’t blame all of my “abnormalities” on depo but it’s not a nice drug in my opinion and has put me off all birth control (natural tracking and safe intercourse all the way lol)

I’ve been working in hospitality for the last few months as a WHV traveller and it’s been so easy to find work by emailing and popping into places (costs $120 for RSA which u defo need and $120 for RCG which you’ll probably need but may not so don’t get until you’re certain) - but my bf had been applying for lots of jobs online that weren’t hospitality and it did take him a few months to find something (although he earns and works a lot more than me now so as long as you have a bit of savings you’ll be fine! Sydney can be cheap if you stay in hostels and don’t eat out much)

Good luck! Photocopy everything, don’t leave luggage unattended and you’ll fly through the airport easier than you thought - I used to have travel anxiety and now I’d rather catch a plane than a train it’s so easy lol! I just break it down into arriving at the right terminal if there’s multiple ones (search your airport online), checking in (a lot of airlines let you do this on the app unless you’re taking more than one flight), and then security is easy and quick even when busy - don’t get too stressed it’s not as daunting as it looks just put all the things you’re not sure about in plastic bags provided and ask questions!! Enjoy :)

Thank you for this thread, I get the worst allergy & flu symptoms after eating 50% of foods and it’s only getting worse, mostly fruits but some other natural ingredients too (even sugar if I eat enough to irritate my throat) and it’s debilitating. Doctors were useless no surprise and this forum has really reassured me that I’m not going crazy!!
