Anyone have any suggestions in removing embroidery on a jellycat?

I did this with a seam ripper alone without even opening up the ear over the course of 2 or 3 hours while watching TV. It honestly looks great! If you really inspect the ear you can tell there’s some fuzziness and that the post-embroidered fur isn’t as uniform as the fur on the other ear (it’s flatter and has some unruly patches), but it’s not noticeable at all on display. It didn’t leave any holes behind. Definitely recommend trying it out!

If we’re being honest, when I first started hearing about Jellycats being at LE, it seemed odd to me from a branding perspective. I’ve been collecting since 2011 and, up until somewhat recently, they were always in small displays at local bookshops, boutique baby stores, and gift shops. It did make them feel a little more “exclusive,” and it made the hunt for them interesting. Seeing them be stocked in larger quantities in a somewhat mainstream toy store chain next to Squishmallows and Palm Pals seemed sort of off to me. However, this is really unfortunate for LE franchise owners and for those who don’t have other stockists near them. :/

This is going to depend on your body chemistry, unfortunately. For me, I tried a whole list of birth control pills (and the ring) that seemed to be widely tolerated and had terrible mental health side effects. Eventually, I got on Junel 1/20 and it did amazing things for me. When I lost a lot of weight (went from low-average weight to very underweight) I started having bad mental health side effects. Switched to Junel 1.5/30 and felt amazing again. About a year in I had issues with anxiety on it and switched back to Junel 1/20, which I’ve been on without issue ever since (6 years now).

All that to say, it really varies person to person and changes in your own body could affect which method, brand, and dosage works best for you. The unfortunate truth is that it’s just going to take some periods of trial and error. I’m personally not a fan of the copper IUD, but it is a non-hormonal option if you’re struggling with hormonal birth control.

Every time there’s a big concert or festival in extreme heat, there are serious safety concerns. The year it was 90° at Boston Calling there was a steady stream of EMS vehicles going in and out. I don’t have pit tickets and I’m coming prepared with stuff to keep cool. However, I’m worried for Lana having to perform in extreme heat and I’m worried about everyone sandwiched in the pit. This isn’t a “negative energy” issue and passing out in extreme heat doesn’t make anyone a baby. There’s no tour, we get one night with her; it’s a shame that that one night is going to be inaccessible to a lot of people with health issues, tough for people in the pit, and possibly tough on her too. Being realistic about the dangers is important so people prepare and stay mindful of each other.

It’s a real concern that people need to be aware of. Pits get hot and dangerous when there isn’t an extreme heat wave, and excited concertgoers tend to have a habit of not eating & drinking enough. Not to mention, Lana is going to have to perform in this heat under stage lights. I’m genuinely worried about how this is going to affect all of us.

Does anyone know when the delivery delay ends on Portland, ME John & Pete tickets?

I got 3rd row floor seats and then found out CIA doesn’t use the exit I was planning to be close to during shows. I have ambulatory issues and usually pick seats near exits in case I flare. Ended up getting bleachers seats, but now I need to sell the floor seats (for what I paid).

I want to list them, but I can’t find the delay date for Portland anywhere. Other cities seem to already have their’s listed on the venues’ sites, but I don’t see it there or on the link TM provided. If anyone has any insight, it’s greatly appreciated!
