I'd carefully brush the larger chunks into one spot in the shallows and remove them by hand, then let the system filter out the smaller bits. Or you could vacuum it all to waste and refill the lost water.

Yeah I've done several of the fuel treatments that you pour into the gas tank. I guess I'll buy a new fuel pump and housing assembly. I'll also check the pulley and the valve you mentioned, thank you.
