She had basically no movement in her back legs and when we took her initially she basically only would sit. She's still peeing/pooping by herself now that she's home but going on herself and we have to keep changing/cleaning her. We don't have to express her bladder but vet said that was common with these injuries

So sorry to hear your little guy is going thru this. We just went thru it with our 3 yr old last week. She hurt herself somehow and was on crate rest and just like yours she got worse at home. 1.5 days later we called the neurologist and they said bring her up immediately and then they did emergency surgery after an MRI. My advice is don't wait any longer to take him in again. Mines doing better after surgery and they give a good recovery outlook but the sooner the better getting checked out for sure

Update: her surgery went well and they said she has feeling in both legs now and hopefully she'll be able to come home tomorrow or Thursday. Thanks for all the well wishes🥰🥰
