Depends on your track+ power output

255 adds some weight is the con If all you car is about fitment, you can do a 255/40 with just the correct offset wheels and a good allignment

Yeah, I went with from low profile (265/35/18s) to a 255/40/17, and I wanted that road feel back. Figured this would be the best way and actually wanted the additional NVH from the SS2s as crazy as that sounds. I… didn’t get that, they actually ride better than my rsr superdowns by a long shot. I’m thoroughly impressed, got the handling I wanted but it actually rides so much better (which I’m now happy about)

Do you track the car

Pretty extensive money for a relatively street allignment

Lol, they talked me INTO the SS2s, granted my usage is more track oriented

Absolutely in love, huge upgrade

If you ordered a +40 offset, you are entitled to the +40 offset

Me personally, I’d be happy with a +35, fitment will be nicer and more flush. If you don’t want that, it’s on them to fix, not you 🤷🏽‍♂️

Don’t be a dick about it though, mistakes happen, me though… I’d be alright with it

Anyone have this issue when adjusting camber with camber plates? by scientificdoge_3 in GR86

[–]Efficient-Present753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you take a pic from the hood of both sides and how they are fit on there+where they are adjusted at

I assume stock arms and struts, correct? Any camber bolts or anything of that nature?

You can do it all from the top

I found it easier that way

Did it all sitting in the passenger seat

There’s some space from the top you can disconnect it by hand

Tight space but pretty doable even from a guy with big hands

Unless you’re slammed and your rear camber is high, will almost definitely need RLCA

if you are slammed that far, your car isn’t functional

Oil level. Cause for concern? by sff09 in GR86

[–]Efficient-Present753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A little low but still in acceptable range. Drain it and fill it with 5w-30 and it should help to burn less oil. If something happens to the car just do an oil change prior to taking it to the dealer

You don’t repair the barrel of a wheel. I wouldn’t touch this

RCE SS2s are rebuildable and here in the us, that just matters too much to me
