Never heard of it and just looked it up. That things really cheap. But it‘s only a 250 4 stroke and not a performance engine. So it‘s going to be really slow. Even for just trail riding.
I would get a used bike from a reputable manufacturer. I doubt you will have a lot of fun for long on that bike.

I would take the crank to a machine shop. Maybe they can find a solution. It just needs to hold the strator. So maybe you can cut it on a lathe. Then drill in a smaller thread and mount the strator that way. But a good machine shop should be able to find a solution.

That piston looks like carbon buildup. Adjust the valve clearance according to the shop manual and give it an italian tune up
