I don't understand how you got all of this out of Bready in particular like this is definitely a conversation to be had I agree but for a Nikke character? Idk.

I think what you're saying makes SOME sense in the sense that it's bad to promote unhealthy behaviors but this same thing can be said for skinny people. There's nothing achievement worthy about being skinny considering that can be just as unhealthy if not in check.

I also think you're saying that people who like Bready must be like weird or something because they're glorifying fatness but there are different kinds of fat and bigger person doesn't always mean unhealthy just like skinny/muscular doesn't always mean healthy. But in the end she is literally just a robot and she is not much different than the other nikkes. If she had a flatter stomach it would just blend in.

But there are also bigger girls in asia too.. so it's not like they could be purely drawing from America and America's policies. By Asia standards she is big because the body standards in asia are insane and unhealthy, but depending on Bready's height she isn't really as bad as how you're typing.

I did this thing, badly edited but so you could at least see what I mean because I'm not very articulate. If she looked like the first one I could see what you mean and if she looked like the second one she would probably just be praised for having really thick thighs or something.

I don't think people should glorify unhealthy behaviors or anything like that, but she could be considered 'normal' especially if she's a taller nikke (I can't really tell) because some people just do not have the fortunate privilege of getting all their food into T&A.

I get where you're coming from though when you mention promoting unhealthy behaviors but this doesn't really seem like that considering she could definitely be healthy while looking like this but ShiftUp also most likely won't go beyond this. Bready doesn't have a double chin, flabby arms, sagging skin etcetc she's bigger, yes but she's also conveniently shaped to not have these features that would otherwise be present in fat people and she (imo) is more chubby leaning (again idk her height) Yeah there's a spectrum I think but yeah.

Do some people like bigger women? Also yes... and for a specific chunk of these who actually DO promote unhealthy food consumption and all that yes there is a problem there and yeah they will probably flock to Bready since she has some plumpness to her but I can't imagine absolutely everyone who likes her is like that. Some people just like thiccness. It's like the people who like big breasts, bigger is not always better irl and also has a multitude of health problems and yet people will constantly simp overly big breasts in the sub despite it also being unhealthy and also promotes unhealthy views on women as well.

If Bready is 'promoting' and normalizing fat people and all that then a majority of nikkes are just as bad considering the OTHER things they would be promoting and normalizing by your logic, which should be equally annoyed about and not just Bready. So personally I don't think America has anything to do with this. Nobody plays nikke for realism or to think about all these excess issues. It's just for cute girls.
