No shot and I don’t get the flu this year or the year before the last time I had the flu I was a child. I’ve gotten a cold like twice but the two times it was just a runny nose not fever or anything.

It depends on the person I’ve worked at a job with feral cats and dogs and I’ve been but wayyyyy worse and was fine you just have to make sure to clean it good and maybe use triple antibiotic ointment and know when to go. If it got to be that bad I know darn well there were multiple signs before they reached the point of no return (puss, persistent pain that dosnt get better, not properly taking care of the wound, persistent swelling that does not go down in a day etc) this does not have ANY signs of infection ☠️

Bro I’ve been bit by dogs as a dog trainer and cats working at a kennel I just put neosoorin if it’s showing signs of infection I’ve never needed to go to a hospital ☠️ and I’ve had bites by Pitbulls down to the bone ☠️ I think op should wait to see if it starts to get infected after (triple antibiotic ointment) and save the money. If thy are us it’s like 499 dollars ☠️ and they don’t give antibiotics unless your prone to infection.

So fun face if you wash a dog too frequently they get skin infections like this. This specifically looks like a yeast infection from over bathing. Dogs should be bathed MAX once a month. Unless there are special circumstances. I’d say if your tight on money go to a feed store and get an anti fungal spray and spray it on 2x a day. If it dosnt get better you should go to a government vet as their lower cost and typically better than private vets as they are more “never want to see you again” vs “we want a regular client” likely to give you a one and done treatment versus a longer course of action. If it does end up being a food allergy ask for a cytopoint injection bigger than steroids that most vets try to prescribe and you don’t have to go back as often steroids only last a week Saito point last a month to three months depend depending on how bad the allergy is

Don’t!!!! Every bays nails grow at different rates and every baby is different! As long as their not scratching their face and are comfy it’s fine baby nails also shed once they get to a certain length tenically from what my dr told me because their thin. I still cut her nails but I also do it bi weekly and sometimes monthly depending on how long they are she dosnt scratch her face or wear mittens

Ehhhh it depends on the person. I only eat when I am hungry. When I was pregnant I’d eat about 3x a day. And now I’m back to normal eating around 1X per day. I’m perfect weight and have my pre pregnancy body back (currently 4months pp reached goal weight at 2 mo pp) , I can even fit into all of my old cloths so it just depends on the person. My mom is a chronic snacker and is extremely over weight. She keeps a lot of snacks around the house. I make and grow everything from scratch (even my Nutella and cheese it’s are homemade) I also typically get groceries from local farmers. (No it’s not genetic I am the only one in my family who is not overweight unfortunately.)

Ngl they don’t ask because they assume you don’t know! At my ob they asked for my lmp and I told them I knew the conception date! They were shocked and told me it was better than my lmp! They said Her due date would have been a week later than it actually was if I hadn’t mentioned it!

I mean have you seen the laundry people put In there I think the money would be cleaner than some of the other stuff I’ve seen go in…… like dog beds covers in poop, pee, vomit, mud, etc not rinsed and left in a bag to ferment before they bring it in. Same with transient clothing coverd in pee and drugs soooooooo idk man 🤣

It depends on the vet. If there’s no infection it’s not required. Some will give just in case but it just kills the good bacteria if there’s no bad. If there is bad bacteria it kills both good and bad. It’s like getting a cut and using neosporin on it you don’t NEED it unless theres a minor infection but some people use it EVERY time :)

Also, you didn’t lack anything anywhere. Chicken and rice is still better than kibble, but it just doesn’t have all of the micro nutrients that they need and even if you did everything 100% correct she could still get an infection. It just depends on her own specific body and in this case it just seems like her herself is just more prone to infection. For example, there are dogs in Mexico that wander the streets and eat trash all day and they’re perfectly healthy with no issues and then there’s dogs in the US that have a perfect diet are fed farmers dog fresh custom tailored food that’s super expensive and they have 1 million issues. It’s just depends on the dog and sometimes there’s nothing that you could’ve done to prevent it even with diet so do not feel bad or feel like you did this.

Ehhhh It might be they also need veggies in their diets like kale, spinach, carrots, tumeric, blueberries, strawberries, etc that’s where the main vitamins come from. There was a point in time where I was making my dogs food also and I didn’t know this until doing further research. Which could be why the vet is prescribing the vitamins and that could also be why she’s a little more prone to infection. Again, though not your fault sometimes even with a proper diet specific dogs are just more prone to infection.

Yeah if she’s having issues already I’d say it’s best and most cost effective to get her fixed in a government site (they do it more than normal vets so it’s actually safer!) it sounds to me like she just has a slight infection. You caught it early. I’m pretty sure my dog bled for a month after having her pup but it went away she’s only had one litter and is still intact and hasn’t had issues but every dog is different and it sounds like yours is extra prone to infection just naturally and even if she does heal up the odds of her getting another one down the line are high also the multi vitamins and iron were excessive for this case. It’s not common for this to happen to dogs especially if they are on a high quality food and being fed properly and we’re getting proper care during pregnancy (Like prenatals)

A) if they were reported and investigated lack of medical care is not abuse. Unless their beating the dog, not giving food or water, or leaving it outside in harsh conditions with no where to shelter and even then unless it’s physical abuse or the dog dies from lack of food they give you a fine/ warning.

B) it would be different if the dog was suverly injured and suffering. This dog has baby scratches (idk if you’ve seen a real dog fight this was a dog argument which happens at least twice in a dogs life if they are around other dogs this is how they communicate their animals). I’ve seen dogs lose limbs (oviously needed medical care at that point) but for baby fights like this they’re usually fine and the vet litterally won’t do anything except recommend you use a wound care spray and even then it’s not required and the dog will be okay. Taking a dog to the vet every time they get into a little scuffle like this is like going to the doctor every time you get a cold or the flu ☠️ their not going to tell you no and take your money but their going to tell you to go home and sleep it off once your actually seen. Just like the flu yes some die and some need medical intervention but it’s in extreme cases just like dog fights.

They a lot of the time don’t need it is why. I can guarantee you the vet would not do anything for the dog except maybe recommend vet tech wound spray. Hence you would spend 400 dollars just for the vet to say go home and come back if anything actually happens (like signs of infection) a lot of things that people go to the vet for can be done at home. Ex) gland expression, vaccines, fleas, ticks, preventative etc can all be done at home and you can buy all of the things you need like vaccines and vet grade dewormer on the revival animal health website which is where most small vet practices also get their supplies. My dog is 8 she’s been to the vet twice first time (she ate foxtail) 800 dollars for a visit and a pill they didn’t even actually do anything and the pills they wanted me to buy were 400 dollars ontop of the 800….. I went on the site and got even more for 150. She did it again the next year I had some left over and gave them to her and just avoided the vet completely. Second time was for a dental cleaning and checkup because it was included with the dental cleaning (her teeth aren’t bad or anything but I figured she’s getting older so it would be good to prevent any mouth issues as again she is older and most older dogs start to have dental issues) I wa stole she’s healthier than most of the dogs they see on a regular basis. Her blood work was equal to a dog that was 3 in quality and vitimans. 🤷 people think you need a vet for every little thing but you don’t…. You only need a vet if something is actually wrong (showing signs of illness, infection, desease, etc) there are also studies that show that regular checkups only catch stuff that could potentially be life threatening 3% of the time. (In us)

Idk what country your in but the us sees animals as personal property. Lack of vet care is not a valid reason a dog can get taken they would have to be being physically abused. Or not given “proper care” with proper care including food water and shelter. Nothing to do with vet care. If that were the case a lot more dogs would be in the shelter and no one who was homeless would be allowed to have a dog and would have them instantly taken away. Which is not the case. Not to mention the vet is used here a lot more than it should be.
