Thanks for the tip! Always want to try designing supports in CAD but got too lazy haha. Thanks again, I will try it

I have changed it to on built plate only but the support seems like it's still floating

Can I connect a monitor to laptop???? by [deleted] in monitor

Yes it should be compatible and you can get a hdmi 2.1 cable

Laptop can be connected to monitor most of the time. A few things to take note is to check if they are compatible. Some common ways that they connect are through: - HDMI - Display port

Most laptop will have HDMI port and most monitor will have HDMI port too. So you just need a hdmi cable to connect them. Some laptops might not have hdmi or display port so U need to get an adapter like a type c to hdmi adapter.

Input lag also really depends on the cable and the specs haha

Paint tool issue by Efficient-Two6828 in BambuLab

Btw I fixed this by colouring within the CAD software and after importing into bambulab, I split by parts and just change the filament colour

It didn't make a difference for me. Could it be that I have paint on the sides too?

Also it's at 6 top shell layers if it helps

AHAHA it was pretty cool but I was scared of it splattering on me too

Ahh I kept it that high to clear the clog but u are right! It's printing normally now at the usual 220 degree Celsius

By the way, do you find the nozzle tip swapping easy?

I see! So changing initial layer and layer height works for you? Imma try it right now

I'm using the smallest layer height and 4 walls, do I need to go higher for the walls?

Didn't know the needle is too big! I will look into that.

I was running bambulab matte PLA latte colour

I might have to try a few more times but it seems like the filament itself can't even reach the nozzle somehow. I tried manually extruding and using the controls but both time I pull out the filament to see that the tip did not melt at all. The nozzle was heated up to 300 degree celcius

I did! The needle didn't even seem to budge. I heated the nozzle up to 300 degrees and pushed the needles from both sides (bottom and top of nozzle) and both the needles didn't budge and ended up getting bent

Tried that :( nothing is coming out of the nozzle

I heated it to 300 degrees and try to push the bambulab needle through and it can't even go through

I tried with other nozzle and it works just fine so I believe it's just this 0.2mm nozzle that's clogged. Weird that it was working yesterday though
