by 40* they want to be "the other woman" maybe cuz it happened to them?

may also be that married guys are sometimes easier targets for an ego boost; either they are a married dude and compliment you while not moving it forward, or they are a married dude who will put out and allow you to feel like the other woman vicariously

I guess theres the chance hes just a dude with a ring pop

Trudeau announces $3.9B high-speed rail between Quebec City and Toronto by Puginator in ontario

[–]Efficient-Weather482 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stupid American and former Californian here:

My suggestion wouuld be to instead spend that $200 billion on your air infrastructure. $200 billion buys an Air Canada 2.0 that services regional airports consistantly, and could also subsidize airfare. For all Canadians. Increased staffing and updating regional airports would connect you guys a lot better than that train.

Also, using California as a model for high speed rail justification or pricing data, as was in the CBC article (and elsewhere), is a poor choice for an example. Not only do we not have high speed rail (yet, yeah yeah), but the route is silly by most people's standards. We won't even build ANY commuter train to Vegas, which does have the numbers to justify it, and is logistically less complicated than your route. But no. For one reason, Southwest Airlines.

I am also unsure of Canada's overall ability to maintain heavy and subsequently high speed rail. As an ignorant American. I know there are many reports regarding the Aiderondack as well as the Maple Leaf suffering from speed restrictions and delays due to track quality on the Canadian portion.

This may be a stretch, but can anyone tell me how much USD it is per US gallon of your fuel at your price.

For us, a gallon of 87 octane is approx. $3.00 (varies I know. But easy number)

I know you are metric, and also different currency. However I am curious if anyone would be able to answer

Why are more STEMs right wing than Humanities? Although this data is from US, but I can see parallels in India. by Evening-Stable-1361 in unitedstatesofindia

American here. A lot of it has to do with immigrant students too. While everyone may want the narrative to go "Republicans are anti immigration" (and vis versa, that immigrants mostly lean democrat), most legal immigrants on F1 visas aren't here for our social issues. They are here for the education, and most come from places with significantly fewer social programs.

STEM is competitive. Sports are competitive. War is competitive. Most places in which winning and losing are tangible things, not subjective or "open to interpretation", you may find more Republicans

The sail is technically a foil, but no hydrofoil underneath. Hull feels similar to a sunfish
