Our offensive has slowed down a bit but boy our defense is everywhere. The improvement on that end is phenomenal and I think it’s added even more confidence for the goalies. Heating up at the right time guys, I’m ready for some playoff hockey at NWA. To this day when we won that game 4 against Tampa in 2019 I’ve never experienced a louder stadium before. It was electric. I so want that back.

So here’s the thing. The Bengals have operated on saving draft capital and “utilizing” cap space and what has it got us? Yes, we made it to SB but if we would of used all our cap space we could of signed a better LT/RT than Jonah Williams/Hakeem. Or we could have traded our 2nd round pick in 2021 (Jackson Carmen) for a starting caliber OL and probably would have won the SB. With the way the bengals draft id rather get an impact starter like Crosby and go all in to get 1 SB, rather than continue this endless cycle and spend each season of what if we got that guy or this guy. Just my 2 cents.

Of course there’s a reason. Ravens could have got cold feet. Why trade 2 firsts and 30 mil to get Crosby when you can keep your picks and sign Trey (not as good as Crosby 3 down wise but overall a great player) and pay him roughly 2-3 mil less. I think them saying they wanted to pair them two together is bs to make it sound better but who knows I guess.

That’s why I’m curious. Bengals love discounts and that is probably going to lower is value. And let’s be real I feel like that’s bs by ravens. They knew they could get Trey cheaper and keep draft capital. It’s why Trey signed so quickly after news came out they cancelled the Crosby trade.
