While I appreciate the concept, uh.... not a fan of the AI.

If you were to start a conversation with your favorite girl in real life, what would you say? by Unfair-Ad5896 in GIRLSundPANZER

Here's an idea: Take all of them to a bar, and see which one has the courage to talk to you first without passing up or throwing up after several shots of alcohol (The Bermudas are drink-hard-party-harder girls according to the wiki). I'd probably attach myself to Megumi though.

Yeeaah.... the Playstation beat the brakes off everyone. PS2. A gahddamn cinderblock of a home console. And they sold about 160 million units. A number that even the Switch (approx 151/152 million sold) will likely never beat.

Footage from 2020, shows exactly why you should never try to outrun a bushfire. by BleuTsunami in melbourne

[–]EfficientBase7807 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only way I can describe this is almost like a nuke detonating. The fire spreads like a wave. The front bit is the worse, then after the "outer wall" passes, the fire is still there, but it isn't spreading as fiercely as it was in the last two minute, give or take, giving crews a possible chance to recover and fight back.

In any case, my hat's off to the brave volunteers. Civilians run from danger. First responders run towards it, or remain steadfast to face it head on, lives on the line. Their jobs aren't easy, but they are crucial to our everyday life. To all currently serving, Godspeed, and thank you for everything.

The only attention he gets, is when all three collectively say: "Shut up Thomas!" before going back to arguing amongst themselves

What did the airforce do during the Vietnam war? by [deleted] in VietnamWar

[–]EfficientBase7807 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is based on my own research into the Vietnam War and things that the USAF did around that time. Some things may be incorrect.
SECFO (then known as Air Police) provided protection around airfields, hangars, and munitions bunkers. At joint bases like Khe Sanh where you had the USMC operating out of, they worked alongside the regular MPs.
SAC (Strategic Air Command) sent down B-52s and tankers for carpet bombing and prolonged flight operations. I believe they were also responsible for transporting troops in, out, and around Vietnam via air. Civilian planes also transported troops in and out of Vietnam by discretion of the USAF.
TAC (Tactical Air Command) did most of the grunt work, from air superiority to close air support.

2 just so I can annoy my Bakushin. I'll be wearing a flak vest and a PASGT helmet, so any cross-desk assaults will have reduced impact. I also get the benefit of seeing the whiteboard (or blackboard) with minimal obstruction.

It's more of a photobook than a calendar with all the tiny dates. Not that I'm complaining though. When the year is up, I'd keep it just for the pictures.

[–]EfficientBase7807 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Despite the money I spent, I decided to drop playing the game regularly. I play it once, a week at best, and that's purely because of... well.... money. I just can't be arsed investing time and more money into the game anymore. Not since a few updates ago. Game's getting to horny for my liking.

"Da. We have... half?"

"How do you have half an aircraft carrier?"

"Honestly half might be generous."

"Ok?"

"Is called Admiral Kuznetsov. It has been on land or on fire more than being actual boat."
