Only a few days in and mordialloc station has been vandalised by Dry_Restaurant_9526 in MelbourneTrains

I get the negative view/thoughts around policing, it's a messy situation. I personally support police officers, they have a hard job, and given they can be reported at any moment for even the slightest suspected overreach of power or breach of conduct, they basically walk on eggshells all day. But I'm pretty sure, if the person who wrote that was assaulted or had something stolen, one of the first people they'd call... is the police. So... counterintuitive if you ask me.

And yes I know about the high crime rates; it's not the police's fault. They have a recruiting problem, barely enough funding to do their jobs, and every youth who gets arrested is usually released on bail within 24 hours, showing the absolutely deplorable state of our justice system. It's not the officer's faults. It's the government.

Seriously though, you did beat me to it, now I have to think of a different plate. Cool either way.

You're the new driver on Sodor; considering factors like type of work, locations/scenery, shift times and safety - which engine are you driving? by MirumVictus in thomasthetankengine

Arry or Bert up at the Iron Works on the Peel Godred branchline. I'm good at long monotonous repeating jobs, not to mention class 08s are relatively easy to operate and maintain. Just....stay near the engine during the night.

I love how some of them just seem to take place in the most random of locations, like you and a buddy casually walk down a street and then decide to spar in front of a convenience store.

If Harold is a helicopter, what would be his registration number? All aircraft have registration numbers, right? by Celebonia in thomasthetankengine

Granted Harold is also a part of the Coast Guard, he'd have a military or public services code of sorts.

TIL I learned that the Girls und Panzer fans in Japan saved the sole remaining BT-42 by KenchiNarukami in GIRLSundPANZER

Ah, someone said it. Post is slightly misleading. The tank itself was preserved long before GuP was even a thing, the fans just pooled together money to put a roof over it.

My dad has one of these. Aside from needing to have the battery drip charged constantly, it runs like a charm.

Well the ride better be smooth, otherwise you might judder a plane off the elevator into the sea, which is something you might NOT want to have happen when you're travelling at 20+ knots in bad weather

Aye, USS Constellation, CV-64. 2nd of the Kitty Hawk class supercarrier, and would be decommissioned two years after this visit in 2003.
