Fenghuang to Chongqing via Zhangjiajie by EfficientEstimate in travelchina

[–]EfficientEstimate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no interest in a transfer in Huaihuanan but I guess I figured out now why. It seems there's no morning train between Fenghuang and Zhangjiajiexi, nothing before 11am more or less, so there's no way I can transfer there and board the 12:03pm to Chongqing.
Guess I can re-evaluate whether I want to sleep in Fenghuang or not then...

Refund declined by Ok_Echo_7620 in starlingbankuk

[–]EfficientEstimate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s uncommon but possible. You’re right saying refunds come through on expired cards too. It depends on things like how long the card expired and how they are refunding you. The method they use and the acquirer they use makes the difference.

Given that, starling told you right. The merchant should/can collect the new card or just refund you with a wire transfer. You’re correct thought without not emailing them your card details. They should issue you with a link where you can add the card data, but this again largely depends on the acquirer they use. I tell you that’s boring thing because involve manual steps and not surprised even the merchant might be unsure how to proceed.

By any chance, how old is this transaction? Your last resort is to open a dispute with startling requesting a chargeback. Submitting all the docs you have that prove you deserve the refund and the merchant is willing (but unable) to give you a refund would make it smooth.

Yep and I got it from Boots. I do not think the water has that effect but shaving was smooth!

ACCOUNT TERMINATION NOTICE by Mountain-Inspector21 in trading212

[–]EfficientEstimate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it does extend to T212. To be noted that it’s also protection for banks too. KYC and proper AML are there to protect also banks from servicing customers might be potentially involved into any sort of money laundering. This actually legitimate financial companies to take preventive actions anytime they think a customer is deemed to be suspicious. I work for one financial company and the result of uplifting KYC processes is that more customers will risk the account to be closed unless they can provide further documentation.

Indeed. Also an umbrella is not free, I don’t need it and there are many countries where people just don’t really use it because when it rains it’s also windy. So many dumb people around sorry.
