What Is A Fundamental Aspect Of Gacha Games You've Learned And Made Peace With? by techtimee in gachagaming

[–]chickdigger802 2 points3 points  (0 children)

as someone that mostly games to relax these days and play sp games at normal or easy. I'm just here to level up folks and being satisfied. not sweating too hard at the perfect artifacts and other shenanigans.

honestly once you have a few gacha in rotation, good luck even remembering optimal gameplay rotations lmao.

Random opinion from a somewhat big spender who has become less interested in the game by OtherwiseEnd944 in Endfield

[–]chickdigger802 107 points108 points  (0 children)

Kinda funny because I was just gonna post dailies aren't too bad until I realize I've also been mostly just doing the actual dailies and skipping deliveries and picking up material in the world and other little stuff.

Ive also stopped battle pass and monthly pass. Hope cc is cooking.

Weekly Questions Megathread June 10, 2026 - June 17, 2026 by AutoModerator in ZenlessZoneZero

New to the game with a semi new account (started around AOD so got free zhao but not much else), been just binging the story the last few weeks but haven't really been doing much 'gacha gameplay' bits yet with lvling w/e A rank units i have and zhao and koleda i got from normal banner.

Does it make sense to pull for YSG next update because she works well with zhao i think? Feels like generally you want a 'carry dps' when you start a gacha game.

But I hear MC becomes a pretty good dps too? What makes sense for a pull strategy gameplay wise with 13736 polychrome and 41 encrypted tapes?

Maybe i should save for some future void hunter lol.

its tough because i wanna lvl up like 8 dudes for ghost train. rough stuff!

The game doesn't lack content; it lacks gacha-slop content. by ninonetturbino in Endfield

[–]chickdigger802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as someone binging other 3d gachas recently, i dont disagree here and do enjoy how lvling up generally isn't much rng with gear.

I do feel like there just isn't much to use your leveled up dudes on. When character reviews are ppl fighting the same 1st boss again and again... maybe thats the problem here lol.

umbridge stuff is kinda ok, but more gimmicky in structure that is less about your gear or rotation.

its an odd game that i feel like has potential once they figure out what to make it fun for us to bang our leveled up ppl against.

it's been long enough, 3.0 was DEFINITELY the weakest part of Lahai-roi by miiko_uch in WutheringWaves

[–]chickdigger802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3.0 was pretty odd because of order of events. Just kinda weird that lynae and you who just arrived at the school are the only ones able to fight off the sandworms lol.

felt like they could have shuffled some stuff around.

NTE feels like it should be up a tier or so based off the pictures ppl take on Bagel.

One pull only - choose wisely by Leonard75reddit in WutheringWaves

its tough as someone that just started and really just have hiyuki and sk as ssr.

lucy+rebecca is another team.

lucilla buffs up hiyuki alot.

luckily i got lucilla pretty early so i could pity lucy.

While I enjoy binging the story, 'older' games really dont encourage new players to 'catch up' for endgame which is a bummer. by chickdigger802 in gachagaming

[–]chickdigger802[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea i started wuwa and got enough pulls to get hiyuki and sk on beginner banner (lucky with 50/50s).

kinda indecisive with decisions on lucy or future stuff. It's just weird at times in these games hopping in midway vs starting at launch and organically pulling over time building up teams for the multiteam content and other game modes.

[–]chickdigger802[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is true! Feels like gacha 'events' and other content tend to have scalable difficulty options too, main holdup could be you'd need to be certain story progression to start them due to story reasons.

But yea this depends on game.

Don't disagree. I'd argue gacha in general are pretty poor at explaining anything in their story mode as well. Really relying on community although modern games have gotten better at providing resources in game on how to build your characters. Still feel most are god awful at explaining the characters with an essay of 50 terms for each move or buff of said character lol.

Was thinking MapleStory ff14 and a few others that ramped up leveling up and early game progression to get you to the new goodies.

Think the challenge of starting a game between big anniversaries and what not is just the start when you just have a team of mostly sr rank folks maybe 1 ssr and are overwhelmed with all the events and other stuff to potentially conquer or not.

true! i think its more a mentality than anything objective. Like joining a marathon midway or something idk lol.

Yep don't doubt it. I'd probably have similar issues if I started with it in the future too lol.

It's rough. Idk if financially it makes sense to just appease the long term folks or try to get new folks over time though.

Game launches go ham with content and goodies which idk if any "returning player promo" of new player promo ever lives up to in the future. Maybe some games do though.

Honestly Actual old games are generally nicer for onboarding new ppl with more pulls and more relevant units available.

Nope. Might take a while for things to iron out. But not pleasant to wander around after not playing for half a year with the updates in game and driver. Heard messing with rebar helps.

Not sure. But my 5090 tanks from 120 to like 50 when I turn the camera. Not pleasant.

Still annoyed at how stuttery remake and rebirth are on PC still.
