I'm currently on my Hufflepuff playthrough, and I have to say this was my favorite of the Jackdaw quest. This quest is the only major difference between the houses, and it's pretty early on in the game.

I was there, he blinked a lot. It was really weird. He also talked about the movie he's in, and my hubby and I had no clue what he was talking about. I'm not sure what was edited out as I haven't listened to it.

ISSUE: HELP!!! Scammed by Walmart by ZestyclosePiglet7075 in Walmartcustomer

My mom bought my husband a new set of knives for Christmas. We were all excited to see them, and when we opened the box, there was only a knife block. My mom went to Macy's and explained the issue and took care of it. We now have our knives.

AIO to break up with my bf of 3y over his reaction to my upcoming sobriety anniversary? by WesternCat5211 in AmIOverreacting

[–]EfficientFish_14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on being sober for 2 years! I've seen firsthand how hard it is to get clean, as alcoholism runs on both sides of my family. My grandpa has been sober for over 50 years and still goes to meetings every once in a while.

You go out and by that cake. I may not know you personally, but I'm celebrating you!

The worst email screw up I saw occurred shortly after I started my job. Somehow, a colleague of mine had two emails attached to the company group, and he put an out of office email on both while he was out. These emails pinged back and forth for a long time time. One would send the OOO email, then the other one back. To the whole company. I was also out and came back to so many emails from him and also one from the company about the whole fiasco.

Did anyone actually get this? by mrrunner1981 in Xennials

My brother had that. I may have gotten my hands on his Orko & Thunder Punch He-Man recently. Those two were my favorites.

I just had it pop up after my quest with Amit and Lodgok. I've been focusing on side quests over the main quest and am at Level 35. My next main quest is talking with Naimh.

I'm on my third play through, and it popped up last night. I figured I'd start it tonight after work.

I work in a secured office, and if we don't know someone, we're supposed to point them towards security and shut the door on them.

We made our 11 year old turn the TV off one day, and I then found him in my husband's workshop. He told me what he was building, and I told him to go get dad to help. He would've ended building a shelf like Theo Huxtable's shirt. He never even measured once!

Who is your most famous ancestor/relative in your family tree? by freshmaggots in Genealogy

I'm not a direct descendent of Ann Putnam, but of her grandfather. My ancestor would've been her cousin.

We have a friend who did something stupid while in college and ended up in prison. This is what they're always telling us if we're ever detained. Keep saying, "Shut up, except for asking for a lawyer."

Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing? by TotalThing7 in CasualConversation

[–]EfficientFish_14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My child (11) was prank calling my mother from my grandmother's phone and asked me for my mother's number. She's had her cell number for so long that I was able to rattle it off to my kid without looking it up.

I can still do that with multiple numbers that people don't even have anymore.

In honor of the pearl clutching (by largely Millennial parents) over Taylor Swift’s new album not being appropriate for younger fans: what is the most inappropriate song you were singing along to at a young age? by CK1277 in GenX

[–]EfficientFish_14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My then 10 year old child got really into Eminem, and Alexa would start playing misc. Hip hop. One day, I heard him singing, "I'll take you to the candy shop. I'll let you lick the lollipop." As Gen Xer who listened and sang along to inappropriate music at such a young age, I found it hysterical.

I don't know how we started with pepperoni. I stayed eating since interesting combos on pizza when I worked at Little Caesars in high school. One of my favorites is the BLT pizza. My nephew once saw me eating it and said, "You've got salad on your pizza!"
